Good Morning Ladies,
I am sorry I have not been back to this group... I did not realize that people use more than one forum.

I started going to the calorie counters forum the same day I found this one.
I have been behaving! Really I have.
My average calorie intake is about 1440. I have been told to start about 1600 hundred.
I joined CURVES, with daughter Magan almost 2 weeks ago.
I have medical conditions that make me want to do It all gradual. I am also doing my tread mill on my OFF days with Curves. I have got myself up to 1 mile a day on the treadmill.
I had my 1st. unofficial weigh in at CURVES, Thursday. I lost 1 1/2 pounds in a week.
I am still trying to learn
HOW to do the whole new way of life, the correct way.
I have just started treatment
last year for OSTEOPOROSIS. It seems that it is running in my family pretty bad. Even though I am only 49+ AND overweight, I still have it. I have gotten almost
2 inches shorter than I started.
The exercises that make me do any weight bearing on my left knee is horrible.
But getting better.
I am hoping that with the Curves people and the people here, To learn how to make the correct changes in the way I live. So far, I feel I am doing well.
I go to the Dr. for check up next month. Hope to see my other health problems getting less. Maybe I can get removed from my newer prescription for Triglycerides, If I am doing good with my diet.
My goal this year is to get off of 2 of the 4 meds I take (not including the Boniva).
Oh I also want to say thanks for the fish recipes. Magan and I are eating lots of chicken and fish. its nice to have new ideas.
