I havent posted in a while. I had Gastric bypass last yeat oct. 1,2004, at that time I was the heaviest I had ever been 236lbs . Todate i've lost apprx 105 lbs, Some people say that i'm too thin some say i look great just don't loose anymore. I know there is nothing that i can do to stop loosing, but does anyone have any suggestions. I have an appt to seed the surgeon on the 25th, should i address my concerns with him?
hi geri! i hope you don't mind, but i separated your thread so that it would be easier for people to see and respond to.
congrats on the weight loss!!!
and here's the REALLY big question: do YOU think you've lost too much weight? the right amount? too little? and how do you feel? it really doesn't matter what other people think - it's what you think and how you feel.
by all means talk with your surgeon. and there ARE things you can do to stop losing... if that's what you want to do.
Thanks for your response. I spoke to my docotor's assistant and she thinks I'm doing great. She said i may only loose about another 10 pounds or so. She told me to keep doing what i'm doing, just make sure that I start exercising!!!! Which is the keep factor to keeping the weight off.
