Greetings to fellow troopers
My name is Alana-
I'm close to 100 pounds to lose......may I still post here? I'm unsure about how this whole thing (posting) works so I hope I do things correctly.
I get a lot of motivation from others who have been successful, and I hope someday to return the favor to someone. And I already have a list of questions, so get ready for me.

Welcome, Alana! You are welcome to post here -- it's a VERY supportive group and I have learned so much and received so much inspiration since I started lurking a couple of months ago. And when I took the plunge and started posting, things got even better!

It's funny because I asked the same thing when I joined because I had 95 pounds to lose

 Alana. You are sure welcome here. We have a few on here who started out with around 70 or so to lose. I think any time you have more than 50 or so to lose it is sometimes harder to connect with those having say 10-15 to lose.

My, my......thanks girls for being so welcoming! It is so encouraging to know that you all are so friendly and helpful. I'm a talker, so I'm sure I'll have a lot to "say" on here. 
And I'm so glad to know a few of you have a taste for jazz music as well. It puts me in the best mood to hear a good sax tune.

When I taught 4th grade, I had a student named Alana and she was just the cutest little doll - I have good feelings when I hear that name.
