Default 3FC Presidental Challenge 8/01/05

I was bad, and missed reporting in on how we did in July. I kept meaning to, then suddenly it was August! /sigh Ok then, moving on. Here's how we stand now.


We have 33 members, who have accrued a total of 245684 points. Wipe off the sweat and take a bow, you've earned it!

Yabbut...you weren't the only one. I believe several had that problem. I did it too, but figured it out before posting about it.

I can confirm that others have had problems logging in. It's just easy to put the wrong thing in the wrong place!

I also have to admit that I'm pretty bad about remembering to log my activities. But I do like seeing my points get higher. Being in this group has been a pretty good motivator for me. I hope it is for other people as well.

And welcome to 3FC, Lee Ann. This site has been wonderful for me. When I first joined, I spend hours just reading old articles that others had posted. There really is alot of information here. Not to mention that there are so many knowlegable and helpful supportive people here. I hope it helps you as much as it had done for me.

Yep, you can join a group at any time, and belong to as many groups as you like. Simply go to the "My Groups" tag, and enter the data for the new group you wish to join. I believe that your total points get added in, but I might be mistaken about that.

You're right, all your points will get added. Once you get in the routine of logging everyday it becomes easier. For me to earn my bronze it took almost a year because I would only log occasionally (and you can only post the last 2 weeks' exercise) but then silver took only 4 months I think and now I am working on the gold. I'm probably gonna be dropping off that list. I haven't exercised since Friday. I've been getting a lot of back pain and having a problem with my right thigh with this pregnancy. I'm about a month away now. I'm gonna put my Curves on hold and just take walks when I feel up to it. But I've felt pretty lousy all weekend. Not getting much sleep, and not restful sleep when I do, just achy and tired.

Almostheaven, I'm sorry that you're not feeling very well. I do understand that pregnancy brings on special challenges. But still, you don't have to completely drop out of the group. It doesn't hurt it at all for you to become an inactive member. If you do happen to take a walk you can log it, but if you don't then no harm done, as far as the group is concerned. Take your time, get better, and we'll still be here when you can resume your regular exercise.

And Sugarbutt, welcome aboard!

Sorry Tealeaf, but that's what I meant. I'm not dropping out, but won't be logging enough exercise to show up much. It's kinda like Fitday. I haven't logged my calories since February. LOL But I'm keeping my account there cause I'll be using it again soon enough.
