Hi there Christy good to see ya. I think I will have my snack and jump on my gazelle....I know I will feel better...I really missed it while I was on vacation. Cindi (I have a snack first because I am diabetic and my sugar drops like a rock when I exercise so I need a carb to exercise on)

Hello....
I would love to join in this thread. I am trying hard to make it to the gym six days per week, and most of those twice. I do cardio(treadmill) in the morning for 35-45 min and in the evening for 30-45 min. I also alternate weight training daily...one day being upper body, next day being lower body. I have always loved to workout, and now am making the time. My husband even meets me in the evening
So far I have kept this schedule up for two weeks.....only taking Sundays off for rest.
I am looking forward to the encouragement and advice from others.
Have a great evening,
Lynn

Ok, I am new and here is the thing that I bet all of you can understand. Where to find the time. I want to do this. I have a five yr old and have still not lost the weight. It is so hard. I have good intentions of getting up at 5:00 am and walking or jogging but it just doesn't happen. I need help, motivation something. My husband, after five years of me being fat, has finally said something to me about it. He hates to see me try over and over with no success. I will take any suggestions. How to find the time.

thank you!
Thank you Flower Power. The hardest part is getting up, putting the shoes on, grabbing the water and getting out the door. Once that's done, the rest is easy!
Eighty minutes on the treadmill today (fat burner mode), and upper body weight training.
I hope I don't get burned out, I am having so much fun. Haven't noticed much of a change yet, but it'll come.
This challenge is going to keep me motivated!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!:

You can do it Gina. I know how hard it is to raise a little one. Maybe when your husband gets home he can take his turn with your 5 year old.
Since he is commenting he can sure HELP you to get some time~just for you~to help you feel better about yourself. It really helps me to clear my head, and helps me handle stress. I hopped on the gazelle for 30 minutes today...I can sure tell I was not on it for 2 weeks when I was gone. Back to sweating gang. Cindi

I'd like to join if you'll have me
I've started getting up early to get my exercise instead of waiting until after work. It's been working pretty well so far, and I've been able to maintain 4 days per week. I really want to bump it up to 5!
Yesterday and today I've powerwalked 30 minutes each morning.
