Default Tuesday Menus and Points

Whenever you're all ready!

I started today with a deviance from my normal Cheerios breakfast.

B: Hard-boiled egg -- 2
Apples and caramel -- 4
Coffee with creamer - 1
2 cups ff milk -- 4

Maybe if I write down what I plan on having for lunch, at the company luncheon, I'll actually stick to it:

* Turkey and cheese on a roll with mustard, lettuce, onions, tomatoes -- guessing - 14 (3 slices turkey - 2 each = 6; 2 slices cheese - 2 each = 4; long hard roll -- 4)
* Salad with ff dressing -- 0

Aargh.. that's 25 points already. Looks like tuna and veggies for dinner!

My usual breakfast:
1 cup Kellogg's Smartstart (3 pts)
.5 cup skim milk (1 pt)

Snack:
Mountain Dew (3 pts)
10 baby carrots (0 pts)

Lunch:
1 cup lettuce (0 points)
.75 cup strawberries (.5 pts)
.5 cup pineapple (.5 pts)
2 tablespoons raspberry vinagrette dressing (3 pts.)

Snack:
1 slice Canadian bacon (1 pt)

Supper:
3 oz chicken breast (3 pts)
baked potato (3 pts)
1 cup watermelon (1 pt)

Snack:
1 Skinny Cow ice cream sandwich (3 pts)

= 22 total points

I really enjoyed my salad that I had for lunch. It was so much more filling than my usual WW or Lean Cuisine meal, and this seems strange, but a lot more fun to eat! I'm excited that I'll have enough points leftover to have an ice cream sandwich tonight. Yeah!! I just got to quit drinking that Mountain Dew!!!!

Have been a bad girl and got a kid's meal at DQ. It was pretty lousy and 13 points for kiddy fries and two chicken strips. Sheesh. And, no toy!

Oh, I did better at the company lunch today than I planned. Just as i was about to bite into my turkey hoagie, I realized I didn't want to waste 4 points on the roll, so I took off the meat and veggies.

Here's where I'm at:

B: Hard-boiled egg -- 2
Apples and caramel -- 4
Coffee with creamer - 1
2 cups ff milk -- 4

L: Turkey -- 6
Lettuce -- 0
Cucumbers and peppers with dressing -- 4
Pickles -- 0
Diet Coke -- 0
One tiny smudge of frosting. -- Guessing 1 point

Ooh good job passing on the roll! I have got to ask where that tiny smudge of frosting fit in, though!

LOL! It was a retirement luncheon for a co-worker and there was a ginormous cake. One side chocolate, one side vanilla. I swear it was five inches high and had to be 2 feet across. The icing was about an inch high. It was killing me! But I really wanted a taste, and my friend let me swipe my finger across hers! It was sooooo good.

I kind of figured it was a finger-licking type frosting, but boy was I afraid of frosting on turkey!
