I did LEGS today, eventually it was a good workout, but I was in slow motion ... I am so tired and lazy these days, must be the heat although we have AC, all I do is yawn and god forbid if I should sit on a comfortable chair I'm out!! I've had 2 naps already today...

I skipped the gym this morning, but rode my bike at lunch. I really pushed it to keep my heart rate up. I rode for 28 minutes and burned 268 calories according to my monitor. I try not to go under 15 miles an hour for most of the ride. I couldn't quite hit 23mph today though, too windy!

Ilene. Good for you for going no matter what time! My little car did turn the right way after work, and I did a LBWO at the gym. There were only 6 or 7 people in there, and 2 of them employees! No need to move from a machine or bench while resting between sets. Heck, I could have played my music over the loud speaker. I'll try to get some cardio in tomorrow. It's supposed to stay warm here til Fri anyway, so I think I'll take my bike with me to work and ride after work (too dangerous where I live - no sidewalks, shoulders, bike trail, and all gravel roads)

I've got a late start at work today, so I have been to the gym and did an hour of upper body (hate it hate it hate it - but it's working!!! I enjoy legs so much more!!!) and then I went for a swim, I honestly thought I would just do 12 easy lengths, but I lost count after 30 and like Nemo, just kept swimming! I really enjoyed it today, and I feel my strokes improving.

I skipped the gym again! It is TOM and I just feel exhausted when the alarm goes off in the morning. I did ride my bike at lunch today. I got it up to 24.8/mph my all time highest. I did have the wind behind me, though. I WILL GO TO THE GYM TOMORROW!

I MADE IT TO THE GYM!!! Sherpa, Ifeel you on the TOM. Kicked my butt too all weekend and made the "girls" sore on top of it all. I've never felt that bad before.
At any rate, I did shoulders and then Tae Bo. Woo-hoo. Tiki's back in the game!!!
Tiki.

I just played DDR for about an hour, and burned about 450 calories.
I'm planning on going to the gym later on for an hour or so.

Yay! I made it to the gym. I did 20 minutes upper body strength training and 20 minutes on the treadmill. I have never used a treadmill before. The elliptical and the stairmaster were both taken and I didn't want to ride the bike because I will do that at lunch. I did the hill setting on level 2. I walked 5 minutes then jogged 5. It really did not get my heart rate up. What do I need to do? Increase the level? Or manually adjust the incline? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
