but i'd rather consider it a WARNING to all of us. somehow or other, i am on Godiva's email list for information. they are rolling out some decadent drinks called CHOCOLIXIRS. and frankly, i can't think of anything yummier. oh my!!!!

so in an effort to prevent myself from going out and trying them, i instead emailed them back for nutritional information. this is their answer. BE WARNED!!!!!

Do you suppose if we added a scoop of protein powder to one of those, it could be considered good for us? Hmmm...

I think even I'd dump from all that sugar - and I didn't have bypass surgery!

I am so glad you posted this. As someone who occasionally indulges in a coffee type specialty drink, I NEED to know this info. I think that with all types of WLS, liquid calories can be a real issue. It is way too easy to slurp down an amount of calories (and fat, in this case) that it would take half a days eating to manage with real food. Scary, scary stuff. I, for one, need this reality check every so often. Thanks for providing it.
