Default Weekend Challenge Week 3

It's Wednesday folks. Who's in for this weekend. I did not do so well last weekend but I know I'm going to this weekend. So who's with me.

My plan is to stay 100% on my eating plan. I don't exercise on the weekend so I don't worry about that.

I'll be in again!

I am traveling to Chicago area on Saturday to visit family, so I vow to make healthy food choices, and I've already decided that Saturday is my one day off from exercising this week. Sunday I will be home again and will still eat on plan and back to exercising. Plan is to be 19mins on elliptical by then!

I'm in again. Hopefully I'll make it the whole weekend this time.

My plan:

1. Stay on food plan all weekend.
2. Get in 64 oz of water each day.
3. Get into the gym at least once (bonus points for twice).
4. Walk at least 3 miles each day.
5. Take my girls out to do something active at least once.

Good luck, everyone!

I know this weekend is going to be really tough for me. We are going to an Amish town to have dinner with the in-laws on Saturday. Then on Sunday we are going to a baseball game where they are having dime a dog day. Sunday will be my treat day but I only will allow 600 extra calories. That's two hotdogs.

Count me in! I am in a kickstart mode, so I'll start my weekend tomorrow! My goals are to...
1. Drink 4 liters of water daily
2. Stay in calorie range of 1300-1500
3. Get 45-60 minutes of cardio a day (combo of bike/walking)

- swim 30 mins on Saturday and Sunday
- drink more water

Thanks for leading us on this!

Well my weekend has gotten a lot easier again. Dinner was canceled for Saturday and turns out that Sunday is not dime a dog day at the ball park. So looks like it won't be as hard to stay on plan.

My weekend got easier too Howie! My cousin cancelled my visit to Chicago so I'll be home all weekend! Yipee... no bad for me foods at home! I plan to take the dog for long walks on both days, the darn dog park hasn't opened up yet. And still do the Elliptical on both days for 19 mins each day. I'm up to 100 sit-ups/crunchies so I'll keep that up too!

I've been trying to think of what to challenge myself on this weekend.
1. Finish reading Body for Life and set up my goals for it.
2. Try for 80 oz. of water.

I'm going for the simple things this weekend.

I will join in too. We are having a family birthday party on Sunday, serving spaghetti & meatballs, I have already put in a request for turkey meatballs.

My goals:

Get enough sleep
Gym on Saturday
Walk 2 miles before party Sunday.

1 Hot dog
2.5 oz peanuts
subway Salad
subway turkey wrap no cheese
1 biscotti

WOOHOOO, howie! LOOK AT YOU, you're almost under 300! Gosh, I think you were in the 380s when I first starting moseying around on 3fc. You've been such an inspiration, and I'm really, really happy for you. BTW, I love your new pic. Aaaaaw, young love ;-)

I actually did okay this weekend! I'm glad I saw this thread because weekends are so tough. I got to the gym yesterday and had a kick butt workout, and on Friday "Chinese Food" night I ordered soem kind of scallops and ate until I felt comfortable instead of shoving my face with sesame chicken. Wish I could have gotten to the gym today but it didn't work out. Oh well, not over my limit for the weekend and pretty happywith the outcome! How's everyone else doing?

Good for you Dana. Glad you found the thread also. It's good to see you back around. As for young love I don't know about that. We are both pushing 40. LOL
