Weekend Challenge week 2
Ok all I'm starting this on Wednesday so everyone has a chance to join in and think about a plan for the weekend. We are going to tackle this problem. And the key to doing that is going into the weekend with a good plan in place.
My plan is to Keep within my calories. No more than 600 over for my treat meal. Work out in the yard. And journal everything I eat.
Come on everybody we can do this. It's only two days out of the week. Lets not let that 2 days ruin everything we do thats good during the week.

I'm in. I don't know how well I'll do since I have a major project due and will be sitting at my computer a majority of the time.
I will:
-Drink lots of water
-Work-out at least once during the weekend
-If I eat out, I will cut the portions in half or make good decisions and not just eat for the moment not thinking about the repercussions
-Drink NO soda (what a horrible habit I've gotten back into )

I'm in, too. I'm completely terrible on weekends.
I'm going to stay on plan for food and water AND I will get in my 3 miles a day and make it to the gym at least once (hopefully twice, since I blew off the workout yesterday and need to make it up). I'll sit down tonight or tomorrow night and plan out our days for the weekends so I can anticipate.
Thanks, Howie!

Howie you're such an inspirational motivator! You ROCK!!!
I don't have to work this weekend so the food preparation is much easier to do, not that I weekend binge anyway, but I won't be tempted to go grab a sandwhich somewhere!
It's supposed to be beautiful all weekend (about 65 degrees) so I will enlist Lexi (the dog) to walk with me at least 2.5 miles and I will also do my normal elliptical (up to 17 mins still from last weeekend)/stability ball routine on both days.
I'm donating blood on Sunday so I will for sure get my water/fluid intake!

Okay, I'm in.
I will:
1): Drink more water (been drinking too much juice lately)
2): Exercise at least one of the weekend days (preferrably both)
4): Do reps with the 3lb barbell at least one of those nights
3): Not snack as much and limit myself to one lowfat granola bar and 1 box of raisins per night.
4): Did I mention drink more water??.lol.

You got me. I'm in!
This weekend I will:
1 -- drink water!!! Lots of it!!
2 -- not eat mindlessly, as is my unfortunate habit on weekends
3 -- get some exercise. Weather-permitting, I'll grab my sister and daughter and go walk in one of our state parks.

I'm prepared this time Howie. I'm mentally and physically ready and am going to get through at least one weekend
1. Get in 80 oz. of water (I figure if I aim higher, I can get at least 64 in)
2. Stay under 2000 calories
3. Walk at least 4 miles (combined weekend)
4. Play outside with the kiddos (Mom got them a new sand box we're breaking in on Saturday )
5. Use my sorry dialup to log my foods (if my phone line will cooperate) or write out all I eat and journal on Monday.

Ok, me too!!! Weekends are the worst. I have dinner out with relatives for Grandma's 75th Birthday. Plan of attack. Some sort of chicken salad. Other than that - I will eat sensible & no junk!!! (I rarely count points on the weekend).

I'm in!
Stick with food plan.
Work out at least once.
40 oz water a day.
To help with sticking with my food plan, I'm starting the weekend by going to the farmer's market. When I splurge this weekend it will be on fresh fruit, as allowed in my fp. I'll enjoy flowers and fresh strawberries instead of choc.

Well, I've done okay today. Made my three miles and my workout and stayed on my low-carbness (even though we went out to eat). Trying to finish off my water tonight before bed.
And I've got my taxes done.

Good for you Barbara. Keep up the good work. How is everyone else doing?
I did not to do good eating yesterday. I did probably work it off though. We worked out in the yard all day and I rebuilt a 6 foot section of stone wall that was falling down. However it was my treat meal day and I went way over my treat day calories by 950. So back at it today. I'm working out in the yard all day again today so hopefully the exatra calories will not show up on the scale.
You know I was feeling so bumed out that I over ate last night. Thinking I really over did. But I was honest with myself and wrote it all down the this morning. It made me feel so much better. I was not lying to myself or trying to hide it. I really do like keeping a jurnal now. Ive been doing it since January and it really has become a good habit to have.

Well, let's see how I did:
I will:
1): Drink more water (been drinking too much juice lately)
I did it! I only drank one cup of juice per day
2): Exercise at least one of the weekend days (preferrably both)
Did it friday night (fri and saturday count as my weekends because of hubby's schedule)
4): Do reps with the 3lb barbell at least one of those nights
Crap, missed that one, but I will do that now:-D
3): Not snack as much and limit myself to one lowfat granola bar and 1 box of raisins per night.
Did it!
4): Did I mention drink more water??.lol.
Kinda did it. I drank more, but should have drank even more!
