I did it.......
I had gone to physical therapy and they taught me some back strengthening exercises done in the pool. Those sessions with the therapist were over and I was on my own. I have a Y membership but had been dragging my feet to get in the pool. Fear of the unknown I guess ~ what area of the pool to use, wondering if they had the same equipment as they did at the therapy pool and being in my bathing suit in front of the general public instead of a therapy class where a lot of the people looked like me (fluffy LOL).
My physical therapist kept at me about going to the pool. I was kind of getting irritated with her ~ siteing work schedule difficulties making it hard to get in time at the pool. Well, I am glad she kept at me (making me feel guilty). I went today and now the ice is broken. I won't be afraid to go back. I just love the water. When I was done with the back exercises, I swam laps for 20 minutes. I can't wait to go back again. Maybe this will get that scale a-moving.
