Morning Ladies!

It sounded like everyone had a nice Valentine's Day yesterday...

Mine actually sucked.......

I tell you I had such a hard day with my kids yesterday and I had asked my mil and fil to watch the kids so me and hubby could go out to eat.....

Well we packed up all the kids... none of them were dressed to eat mind you... and Andrew was sleeping and in pjs already...
We walked in to there house and my mil is getting ready...
I asked her where they were going and she said... "I thought we were going to eat???"

She somehow misunderstood ...... (not sure how though!)
Anyhow, So it was me, dh, the three boys and my inlaws for valentine's day dinner...
Well the staff was short on cooks and it took us over two hours last night to get our food!

Needless to say when we got home..... No valentine nookie for hubby... lol I went straight to bed with a migraine!

Anyhow, I tell ya...lol

I was also thinking..... Jeniqua...... do you want your bio added to the top? I noticed it wasn't there

I'm gonna get back to bed... Have a great day... Hunter has a 8:30am field trip so I will be gone early.

TTYL!

Morning........Penny, I'm so sorry about your Valentines Dinner. I guess you'll have to go out another night, without the IL's.....BTW, I like the image today! Our Valentine was uneventful. We ate and fell asleep with the kids at 8! No valentines snuggles here either. Pretty par for the course here with our little ones though! Abigail doesn't like to go to sleep. They were upset too, because I bought them those Squosh pillows. the ones with the styrofoam beeds in them...Well, we were ready the label and it said ...DO NOT USE FOR CHILDREN UNDER FIVE. So now I have to take them back. They were upset, so we just snuggled them to sleep. I Have to get them new gifts...

Michelle, glad you had such a nice Valentine with the family.. Good for you on eating healthy and protioned at dinner! Keep up the good work.

Chris, that is a Terrible story. YOU are right 2005 better shape up FAST!

Anyway, Gym for me this morning and then home to get some tiding done. Kids have stuff all over and I never got my end of the day tidy in. Not that I always do, but it's pretty messy! What else is new. Do ya ever feel you live with a bunch of slobs?? I know I make messes too, but I have to clean mine and everyone elses too. I know you ladies do the same for the most part.

Have a great day all. BBL to check in!

Morning Mel,

Just checking in real quick before we leave for the play for Hunter's field trip.

I never realized those pillows had those labels either. The boys wanted some but I never bought em... I can see the label b/c of suffocation.

Chris,
I know things will get better soon! Hugs to you!

Ok Ladies... I'm off............ POOF

Penny, not just the suffication, ...I thought of that, which is why I didn't buy them in the past, but I thought just to play with, BUT it says that if it tears, they can breath in those styrofoam beads and they can get in there lungs or something. Anyway, back to the store today. Have a good one.

Red face

Well, I was on plan most of the day yesterday, until it hit evening. I'd been nauseous for days and just forcing myself to eat a little bit of something. Last night, my nausea finally went away, and I was STARVING! Unfortunately, I know if I go to bed hungry, I won't be able to sleep so I gave in and ate... and then ate some more.

Today I have to go grocery shopping since I'm not sure I left anything for anyone else

Oh well, I'm starting again today and not letting yesterday's food fest set me back like it would have before. In fact, I'm ignoring the scale completely to keep from getting discouraged.

Penny-Add me to the list of NON-valentines day's. I didn't get a card or anything. The kids were acting way up and I had an unusually rough day at work. So after dinner...the usual...I'm not eating that, screaming, crying, etc...I got to help prime the playroom walls. That was it. Didn't even get to soak in the tub to ease the day away.

Michelle-Sounds like you had a great night! I bet the girl's were suprised.

Melissa-I was going to get those pillows for my girls too. Glad I didn't. They look so comfy though. Have fun at the gym. I gotta get the girls out the door for school.

I get to babysit my niece and nephew today. Janet (my sis) is escorting my mom to the doctor today and then she has some houses they are going to look at. Get this...Their realtor was talking to a pastor of one of our churches who builds houses. He's selling them for $139,000. He agreed to sell Janet and Slater one for $124,000 if they like it. Then the Montana Board of Housing will kick in $26,000 because of their income and so they could possibly get into a brand new house for $99,000. They are 3 bedroom, 2 bath houses with double garages in a brand new subdivision. It would be a sweet deal for them. I hope they get one.

Great morning gals!
I don't know why but I feel really GOOD this morning! My belly feels well, less, like something has deflated a little bit. Funny! I'm having a big ol' mug of green tea with lemon. Yummy! I am glad I can finally drink it without hurling! I just read yesterday that it increases you metabolism, so anything I can do to increase that, put me down for it.

Chris- I am so sorry that you and your family are having such difficulties! I am praying for you. What a shame!

Penny-I like the new thread starter picture! How cute let's see how long we can keep it on! Sorry that you had such a "lovely" night! Ya know, maybe in a little while you can see the humor in it and have a good laugh. Maybe next year, when you comment on how horrible this year's V-day was! Burning the midnight oil were we?

Chelle-jump right back on that wagon girl! We have about the same to loose so I was kinda hoping that we would hit oneunderland together. Hope that you have a better day today!

Michelle-Sounds like you had such a fun V-day! You always go the extra mile!
Thanks for the new challange info, I'm gonna check it out later today. I like the idea also of not taking continuous pictures but just before and after. It makes more sense. The effects are more dramatic that way and it's just plain simpler! Yea! Have you had anymore stomach probs?

Mel-too bad about those pillow things! Now the children are disappointed huh?
"Do I ever feel like I'm living with slobs?" HA! The only one that isn't is dh! He is a neatnik! Really! I've learned more from him when I first got married than all the time that I grew up! But apparently, the fruit didn't fall off the ol' tree cause my children all could use a refresher course. The little girls are the worst, because they know the older girls will help them to clean up and they take full advantage of that! BTW-you are doing so awesome with that cleanse! I hope you get rid of your "yeasty" friends!

I'll bbl!

Morning Roxy,
I just wish things would calm down around here and take on a more normal pace or whatever. Things keep going from bad to worse and seeing the good just seems so far away. Home is rocky, work is hectic, and throw in my mom's health problems, dh's, mine, dh's job woes, our remodeling stufff, and all the deaths that keep happening and it is too much to bear anymore.

Chelle-Hey girl! How goes your battle? You'll have to post some pics sometime so we can see what kind of jewelry you do. I love unique things.

My niece is trying to convince me that she needs to use my computer. That scares me.... She's so funny.
I'll let her in a little bit...I guess. Her name is Samantha. Okay....I'll let her play now...

Good afternoon ladies! I just got done straightening my house. I just have to mop the floors. Today is day 1 of phase 1 on the SBD! I am ready to lose this weight for good. Tonight I plan on going to the gym. I am really feeling motivated again. Yesterday was for the kids and they had a blast. They loved the new shirts we got them too.

Penny~ I would love to have my name put in the starting thread. I never knew how to do it. I'm sorry you didn't have the greatest Valentine's Day but there's always next year. I'm glad you were still able to go out to dinner. What did you order?

My Bio: Jeniqua ~ 24 y.o married 6 years to Joe, SAHM to Jasmine 5, Juliesa 4, JT 2. I am looking to lose 40 pounds. I am currently on the SBD to help me reach my goal.

Chris~ Things will get better for you. You've really had to deal with alot lately. I'll be saying a prayer for you. Know that you'll be in my thoughts. Keep me updated. My son loves the computer too. I'm always having to give him some computer time too..lol. How's the SBD going?? I am now on the SBD too. Today is my first day and so far so good.

Roxy~ You're making great progress!! My stomach is feeling the same way since I've lost some weight too. Isn't it a wonderful feeling??

Michelle~ I'm glad you and your family had a wonderful Valentine's Day!! I miss chatting with you. I know you're busy with school. Hope you're having an OP day. Don't make me have to check up on you

Mel~ How was the gym today?? What did you end up buying the kids instead?? I think it's soo sweet that you snuggled with the kids last night to get them to sleep. How's your cleansing going??

Chelle~ Hang in there. Today is a brand new day. You can do it!!

Well I better go make lunch but I'll be back later.

Jeniqua-This is day 1 of phase 2 for me. I'm doing good I suppose. In phase 1, I went from 201 down to a now weight of 196. That's less than what I expected but still more than I've lost with WW in the last 6 months. No complaints from me. My cravings are pretty much gone too. The hardest thing about phase 1 was dinner for me. I am sooo not a veggie person. Eating vegetables was the hardest for me.

Okay...It's been an hour at the doctor and still no sister or mother. I'm anxious to hear what's going to happen with my mom. My aunt, bless her heart, bought my mom a book on Women's Health while she was in Florida and she told my mom to make sure all of us girls' read it too. She's more scared than my mom...I think.

I've cleaned the bathroom. Scrubbed the baseboards in the kitchen, swept the floor and threw in a load of laundry. After lunch I'll tackle the kitchen. I have 4 kids to feed and I know what that's going to look like afterwards. Maybe for a surprise tonight...while dh is at his police academy school, I'll get some more painting done. That would shock him.

Okay gotta hit the SBD boards to see what's for lunch and what's for dinner tonight.

I guess it's cleaning time for everyone! I have cleaned the kitchen, folded a load of laundry, working on the second, cleaned the family room and did some other tiding around.

Chris, I'm praying for your mom.... Wow, congrats on the 196, you and I have been so neck and neck. I'm so happy for you!

Jeniqua, good luck on SBD today. Glad you got some cleaning done. How was your Valentine with the kids and dh last night? I haven't gotten them anything yet or returned the others, but I will do that. I have something for patrick ..a Thomas Flash light and I will buy abigail a memory foam pillow. the gym was good. Not my usual 1 1/2 hours, but I still got in some good cardio and some core work!

Afternoon all-

Well, I have my packages almost done for the grandmas b-days.
They are both going to be 70 this year and one was born on the 17th and the other was the 18th! My mil always jokes she's the young grandma! They both are getting vidoes of the children and cards, some wild rice (a minnesota specialty) and chokecherry jelly I made in the summer. Plus various little things we thought they would enjoy just being grandmas. So off to the post office I go to mail these. DH after only 3 days of training, mostly watching videos. Is on the job taking over for the main route of this guy who had his shoulder surgery yesterday. He wasn't supposed to go on until Saturday and have more training but something happened where his training days got messed up and instead of making him wait they decided to throw him off the deep end of the pier to see if he could swim. This particular route is the largest in this county and also, in the past when they have had temporaries filling in they break the route in half because it is so large. They are so short handed that they just gave him the whole thing! First day! I am very worried about him. He has already put in a full eight at the other place and now he'll get next to hardly any sleep. Oh dear! I hope he makes it home alright! It didn't seem to be so hard to make a living for the family when our dads were young men.

Chris- I wish life were better for you!!! I'm glad at least that the diet is going alright for you and you have lost some. Hang in there, we're all here for ya.

Jeniqua-Hey Beach girl! I know you will do great on this you have such an optimistic attitude! Go-Go-Go! Thanks for the compliment, yes it does feel wonderful!

Well, all of you other girls I am going for my walk now and I'll be back a little later before I go pick up the school children. I have to have a meeting about one of them as soon as I get there! One of mine just got a detention, great huh?

I have started my massive cornbread making undertaking. I'm never volunteering to do this again. I'll be having nightmares for sure. At least all four of the little people aren't too bad. I just can't get anything done with them around. What to do? What to do? I'm bored. My gazelle is buried so I can't even get to it right now...along with my sewing machine. No fun there.

Oh well. For lunch I had 1/2 c. low-fat cottage cheese. And some wraps: chicken breast, fat-free mayo, relish, and wrapped in romain lettuce. Yum. I'm not even missing my tortilla sandwiches.

back to reality for me. Gotta go find the quietest of the group. The 2 littlest.
