Question What makes YOU go WHOOOOSSSSHHHH???

This is meant to be fun!

Over the past few weeks I've read a number of comments on this site and others about people doing something DIFFERENT in their low-carb WOE that resulted in a WHOOOOSSSSHHHHH effect -- a sudden loss of a few pounds. These range from lowering calories to upping fat to exercising more to adding green tea to adding more water intake to some really unusual and questionable actions...well, you get the idea! Whether there is actually any cause-effect relationship is anyone's guess, but I think it's kind of fun to hear these stories.

My personal favorite so far was a post by a woman who said that whenever she needs a WHOOOOSSSSHHH she gets.....ummmmm....well....."cuddly" with her hubby. For her, that does the trick!

Anyone want to share what makes them WHOOOSSSSHHH?????

If thats all it takes I better get my hubby some vitamins!! Ive got 70lbs to loose!!

For me its cutting back the fats. Butter in particular and cheese. This usually sends the scale on a very nice decline

Ohhh hoooneeyyy????? (may as well give someone else's trick a try )

For me its cutting back on the calories, and staying 20gms of carbs or less. YEs, the extra "lovin" always helps!!!!

I'm with Karen -- increasing my fat intake really seems to help me with woooshes. I know this sounds funny, but whenever bacon is a part of my menus, I seem to lose weight. I guess it's fatty, and it so satisfying that I don't eat as much as usual.

YES! Bacon is my big one too! I sometimes will cook it in bulk to use for a few days on burgers and other dishes too! I always end up with a WHOOSH that week!

Hmmm.....

rofl@Leenie. Now that's the only type of whoosh I usually end up with I might need to try all the "tricks" you've all talked about I could use a different type of whoosh!!

It's been a while since I've had a whoosh, but bacon was always a good one for me, too. Along with that, lots of water, an orange juice type drink in the morning instead of coffee (I like Crystal Lite Sunrise), and exercise! Silly ladies, what did you think that 'snuggling' was?
