Default Food Drives/ Clothing Drives

Your mission, if you choose to accept it...

It's that time of year when we start getting more and more solicitations to contribute to a food drive or clothing drives.

I think this is the perfect time of year to get those Off Plan snacks out of the cabinets. Who needs that extra temptation during the holidays? Get rid of them!

And if you've lost a bit of weight? No better way to give back than to find a needy family who could use those extra clothes. Some of my fat clothes COULD clothe an entire family! It's time to take way the net - you're not gaining back that weight after the holidays, so get rid of those clothes.

Almost every grocery store is doing a food drive but you can also check the local American Red Cross or Community Center.

Good Luck!

Jessica, I finally started cleaning out my closets. Thanks for bringing up a great way for someone else to get some use out of the clothing I can't wear anymore. I'll take you up on that challenge and make sure I donate them to a good cause. My family is pretty tight financially around the holidays but we still make an effort to help others.

that is a great idea. I've been emptying my closets as I go along and giving my big clothes to two coworkers. Of course I'm almost out of the clothes that are their size. I'm hoping that when I start giving out my 24s, they'll get motivated to start losing some weight as well.
