Default Nothing like getting broken into

I've been sparce for the past couple of days because our house was broken into Tuesday evening and I was super busy at work. They only took our playstation2 and games but almost broke the back door off its hinges and broke part of the facing of the front door. They looked around our bedroom for the guns but jeff and pawned them last week after his wallet was stolen. Nothing like a string of bad luck in your path. Hopefully things will start brightening up for us.

(well there is one bright spot. I got on the scale yesterday morning and had lost the 4 pounds I gained from the week before. I won't get on it again until Monday on weigh in day.)

Aw, Dawnyal, I'm SO sorry. It's awful that you and your family had to go through that.....that just sucks. Thank goodness you weren't home or didn't come home, and noone was hurt. Awful. But it's behind you, and you're all ok.

And congratulations on those 4 pounds reclaimed!! Woo hoo! HA! Now on to the next ones......

That really sucks. Any idea who it was? Maybe the same people who took the wallet. They would have your address and All. Glad you all are all right.

That is really rough and I know you are leaving out a lot of other feelings that you are having about your private space being invaded. We had one of our vehicles broken into out in front of our house, caught the guy in the act but he got away because he had a hammer and my husband is not dumb enough to try and jump him. But I was jumpy for weeks afterward. Just glad to hear that no one was hurt, that is the most important thing.

You are so right Jen. I wrote in my blog that he stole my sense of security as well and that's probably what I miss the most. Now each day when I get home I find myself looking around to see if anything else might be missing.

Thats so horrible... there really IS something going around, eh? I hope you can feel safe soon.. I can't imagine having someone go thru my house, nevermind steal anything. Which reminds me, I definitely need house insurance, because I have a PS2, and they are expensive!

I'm happy to hear those 4 pounds are gone, maybe not changing your thingy helped after all! I should try that... hmm.. "CW : 160" Now if only I can wake up 82 pounds lighter!!
