I love hummus but I always make my own because I like to control the tahini, cumin,lemon,oil etc......if your having trouble getting the taste right always add less lemon than you need because you can always add more but you can't take it out......I usually start with a can of chickpeas (drained and washed), approx 1/3cup tahini, about 1-2 tsp cumin (this spice makes all the difference and makes it more like what you would get in a restauarnt..very traditional for hummus), between 2-6 cloves of garlic (I love garlic
)...about 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil and lemon to taste (I don't like it to lemony)...and then salt and pepper to taste. It is the best
