Default ZZZZzzzzzz

OK, ladies, I am EXHAUSTED! I started the day tired and just never perked up -- even with a cup of coffee!! Am I just having one of those days, or is this normal for phase one? I am already trying to think of excuses to get out of cooking tonight and I just want to crawl into bed! I am taking vitamins and I did exercise last night. But, with being this tired I don't know how I can keep it up!

Maybe it's just today and it will pass!?

Lauren

I am going to have to up the java if I can't wake up soon!

This is quite common for Phase 1 and is one of the reasons why most people don't start exercising until they get towards the end of Phase 1. Make sure you are getting enough carbs. Beans/legumes really help with this. It does get better. Just give it some time.

For the first 2-3 days each time I do Phase I I'm ready to crawl back on a bag of packing peanuts and sleep for hours.
There are a few things you can do.

1. Like Barb said, each plenty of beans, nuts, etc. Make sure you feel satisfied.

2. Drink LOTS of water. Skip the coffee, guzzle the water. When you feel hydrated you will feel better, promise.

3. Get adequate sleep each night, try to be consistant. Not many mention how important sleep is to your health, but it should be a top priority.

You'll be alright in a few days!

Thanks Aida and Barb! I am glad to hear it's somewhat normal. I feel like I am already eating almost too much! But, I guess we'll see what the scales say about that. I will work on drinking more water. After a terrible headache last night I feel better today -- but was still draaaaging myself out of bed!

We'll see how the weekend goes!
