Default Apryl's a Senior! that our "baby" Apryl is almost all grown up and approaching her senior year in high school, I thought that all of us old farts could commemorate the beginning of her last year of high school by giving her three pieces of "Senior Advice." Here are my three:

(1) Ask that boy out! Just do it. The worst that can happen is he'll turn you down. The best that can happen is that he'll say yes and you'll have a fabulous time. Besides, maybe he's chicken to ask YOU out, too!

(2) Don't be worried about picking the "right" college. Choose what's best for YOU! If you feel like you want to go to the community college for a year first, don't let anyone talk it down. Then again, if Harvard's your dream, go for it! The worst that can happen is that they'll tell you no, at which point you can go to any of the other fabulous colleges you've applied to.

(3) Try out for one team sport that you've always wanted to play. Wanna play softball? Try out for the team. Wanna throw discus? Try out for the team. Wanna play middle linebacker? Try out for the team. The worst thing that can happen is that you won't make it, at which time you can do any of a number of other fabulous things that are available to you. So you end up on the freshman developmental team. So what? Have fun!

I think it's safe to speak for the group and say that we all love you and we are all so proud of you! Happy Senior Year!
