Just thought I'd pop in before I start the cleaning marathon today! I am feeling on top of the world for many reasons. I lost 2 lbs this week! I bought a size 11 dress on Friday! My waist measures 32" and I am so happily married it would make you sick! I feel so happy and uplifted today for some reason I just wanted to share. I hope that everyone had a great weekend! Keep smiling!!

Oh and I forgot to mention...... I am officially in the 150's!!! YEAH! I have been waiting for this forever!
Gretchen, YAY!!! Im so proud of you! You've beed so dedicated, and just look at how its paid off! I dream of a size 11, but I think if I can make it to a 14, I'll be happy. (I'm almost 6 feet tall!) I snuck and looked at the scale this AM (official WI insnt until tomorrow) I was down 1 #, so we'll see !! Have fun doing all that cleaning! I've been up cleaning since 8 and I'm still not done!?!?! Have a great day!!
I am on restricted calories-- aka calorie counting. I log everything that goes into my mouth! I have limited the red meats and sugars to a real minimum. I am currently at 1000-1200 calories per day... Started off with 800 per day but I don't recommend that unless you are being supervised by a physician or dietician.
Its been a wonderful journey so far! Good luck to you..
I don't really consider it a plan because I think I will eat this way for the rest of my life (but with a few more calories of course, when I hit maintenance).
Congratulations Gretchen. I was feeling super happy yesterday after weighing and shoe shopping, I was starting to think that all that exercise was starting to get to me. I'm hoping to see a size 16 myself, that would be nice.
YAY GRETCHEN! You're doing a great job... Don't you love it when you're just so happy with everything? It really makes you an "almost" different person.
Lady, I'm so proud of you.. You've accomplished so much and are a huge inspiration to me.. Now its time for me to get right back on track ( the past couple days were bad), off to the gym I go...
Wow Gretchen, you are the incredible shrinking woman!
66lb is such an amazing achievement, and in quite a short amount of time aswell. Gosh, you and Sarah are really inspiring me to get my butt into gear! Sometimes it feels like I've got so much to lose - but you both show that with some hard work and motivation it needn't take forever to lose a significant amount of weight.
Thanks Gretchen - I give you permission to kick my butt over the next weeks and months! (if i ever want to see that silver bikini! )
I'm glad to hear somone is in a super happy mood. My bubbly happy bug has left me but I think he's coming back.
I can't believe you already bought a size 11. that is so awesome. I have said it before and will say it again—YOU ARE SUCH AN INSPIRATION TO ALL OF US!!!
I have been doin this Since March so what is that about 5 months or so? Actually 5 months to date yesterday. I started March 8th. Yep, I think I've done pretty well. I sure am proud.

Amanda, my dear friend on the other side of the ocean, you, like Gretchen and I, are a work in progress. And that's the key word: progress. It's all a process, one foot in front of the other, one choice at a time, one pound at a time. No matter where we start, it's all the same process.....it just involves more steps for some of us! *pointing finger at myself here*
Confucious had it right though: "A journey of a thousand miles begins with just one step."
Long roads or short roads -- they're all made up of single steps. You'll get there, Amanda. Not just because you want to, but because your fiance just really needs you to wear that silver bikini on your wedding day.
I'm so happy to hear that everything is going great! You have worked really hard. From what I know of you from 3FC's I can see why your so happy your a very positive person. Just reading your thread has made my night. Thanks for sharing.
