Exclamation My awful week!

***Disclaimer - gratuitous food porn ahead***

I have been fighting this sinus infection/sore throat/cough since Tuesday. My "therapy" to help myself was stuff my face every chance I got. Ice cream (Breyers - Rocky Road), Carvel Ice Cream Cake, Snickers Ice cream bars, pizza, Arby's mozzarella sticks, beef stroganoff, etc. You guys get my point and are probably drooling now. Anywho I was gonna avoid the scale this morning since I couldn't exercise last week because I can't breathe. Well I decided that avoidance would probably just give me freedom for another week, so I jumped on the scale this morning and MAINTAINED! So I will have a much better week this week and good OP vibes to everyone else this week.

It's hard to be sick and try and eat healthy, you just don't have the energy. I have the same sickness, or close to, as you! On Monday I had a fever, sinus issues, and sore throat, I slept ALL day Tuesday, and my fever went away. But my sinus issue remained, along with a cough The only "good" thing is that when my sinus's get like that I get nauseaous, so eating isn't an issue. Good to hear you maintained! And I gotta tell yah, I'm almost craving ice cream, and I normally hate the stuff (I'm one of those weird people who doesn't like chips, or ice cream, or chocolate, just soft drinks!)

Hey Kim,

I'm glad for you that you maintained ~ especially after all the hard work you put in. Are you feeling sorta better? Hope so.

Take care

Yeah Gayle, today is the first day I can breathe again. YOu are lucky we didn't go walking this weekend, between the stops with you putting my lungs back in my chest and my ice cream breaks at DQ when we walked by, we'd never get done

OMG, I have to know--was that beef stroganoff served with rice or noodles? That would cap off the food porn to get it just right in my head.

Glad you're feeling better.

Glad you maintained!! At least you have the excuse of being sick. I've been doing terrible this week and the only excuse I have is starting back to work!!

Kudos to you for jumping right back "on" and not just quitting for a month or two.

The stroganoff was served over egg noodles and it was all homemade by my little hands
