Default Plateau broken!

I've been 328 for 4 or 5 weeks with a minor dip into 325 for a couple days then back up to 328. It was starting to really annoy me, but today I weighed and I am at 323. Plateaus really scare me because I had an 8 month plateau before and it finally made me go off my diet/exercise plan.

Yesterday, I started Phase I of South Beach Diet and I started only drinking water (going to plan to do that for the entire month of August). The water thing is killing me though and it is only my second day. It isn't even the caffeine factor because I had stopped drinking caffeine last week. I feel like an addict looking for a fix but I am going to tough it out.

CONGRATULATIONS, NELIE! I know how frustrating a plateau can be -- I just broke through one of those myself! I'm really happy for you, and proud of you for riding it out. They say that shaking up your eating and/or exercise routines can really help, so in case you didn't know that, file it away should you run into this plateau nonsense again. (That's MY plan! )

As for the water, good job! You'll get used to it before you know it, I promise. Just stick with it.

Again, great job and CONGRATULATIONS!

Yay Nelie!! It's so nice to see the numbers moving in the right direction again, isn't it? When it starts to slow down again just remember that you gotta shake things up a bit to remind your body that you're working on a goal here, and tell it no breaks allowed! Good luck with the water, I know how difficult that can be, especially at first. But I promise, you will get used to it. Now it's all I really want anymore, except for coffee, of course! Gotta have my coffee!!
