I'm soooo excited over the fact that its summer now, and not only is fresh fruit super cheap.... ITS SOOOO FRESH!!

I just got home from the grocery store, and I think all that was in my cart were fruits & veggies..

YAY! for nature's natural healthy treats...

Some of my personal favorites...

- fresh cherries
- strawberries
- blueberries
- watermelon

Its soooo much easier to eat healthy in the summer... gets tough in the winter when things aren't in season and are super expensive.... But, we won't worry about that yet.. Summer has just begun!

I'm a big strawberry fan, too. I love all fruit, except cantaloupe. I HATE cantaloupe! Bleah! Lots of people think I'm weird.

Me, I am a berries and melon woman......raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, blueberries......galia melon, cantaloupe melon (sorry Jennelle).....ooooh, and my absolute favourite......mango. Went to the farmers market yesterday, and stocked up on berries.......so guess what's for breakfast???????????? YUM YUM

Ohhhh and peaches ~ I love it when you pass by them in the grocery store and you can smell them. They taste so goooooood!!

Unfortunatly, Im not a huge fruit fan. I like apples, strawberries, green sour grapes, bananas, and canned peaches. I wish I had a taste for more fresh fruits...maybe Id loose this weight faster if I would eat more fresh things!

Yep, summer is great! I to can get fruit way cheaper now. I love it!! My kids eat alot of fruit too. It sure is a way better snack than cookies or such.

I adore melon. We picked up a casaba melon this week - first time I've ever tried one. I think it is overripe, for it's very soft. The flesh is white and incredibly sweet, very good. I like honeydew better than canteloup, but eat both. It's so good with just a dollop of vanilla yogurt on it. Mmmmmmm.
