Default Weekly goals (June 21-27)

Last week I fell by the wayside on trying to set a new goal. This week I have 2

cut out table salt and keep my fat grams to under 35 a day. (I've been doing horribly on this. My average for last week was 67).

anyone else have personal goals for this week?

Ok I have several goals this week becides staying "on plan".

1) Exercise...it doesnt really matter what I do
2) Try to stop using salt, or at least REEAALY lower the ammount I use!
3) Enjoy DHs vacation time at home, rather than feeling STRESSED about it!
4) Make some time for myself to do something that I enjoy!!
5) Let my mother keep Abby while DH and I go to Kings Island for the day!

Well I'm doing great with the no salt so far. I SOOOO wanted some on my tuna salad today but I didn't cave and enjoyed it without. I could've done better on my fat intake yesterday. I had 42 gms, but I did have birthday cake as well so I know I can do better today.

My goal for the week remains the same, to not eat in the evenings. So far, so great.

I have a goal this week. My walking partner is not that committed to losing weight so lately she had not cared to walk to much. She really strikes a nerve with me sometimes anyway. She won't journal her food cause she thinks that takes to much work, but, then she wonders why she is not losing any weight. Go figure!! I am tired of wasting my breath. I wonder just what she considers losing weight to be?? It's alot of hard WORK!! Ok, I vented..I feel better now. I hope nobody takes that wrong. Just after three months of her complaining that she is not losing any weight and she does not want to do anything about it, I am spent.

Anyways, My goal has been to walk my regular 5 miles a day regaudless of whether I have someone to walk with or not. My daughter, who is 8, walks two miles with me in the morning which is nice. Also, I have started doing some exercise in the home. Anybody know a good exercise for the inner thigh?? My legs are shaping up just beautifully, but my inner thigh is so flabby.

My goal for this week is to get ACTIVE again... I need to start excersing again and I know that once I start it will be easy to stay in the routine..

You know what, I'm gonna start right now... I'm going to go for a swim before Steve gets home for dinner...

And, no fast food... that's my biggest downfall is eating out...

I've been doing great with the no table salt. Getting my fat intake under control is going to take a lot more work than what I've been putting out but I'm going to keep going. I'm batting .500 with it this week. I've done great for 2 days and 2 days not so great.

WTG everyone so far.

Tammy--don't worry about the vent. I would feel the same way. It sounds like to me she likes to tell everyone she's "dieting and exercising" but doesn't want to do the work. I think I would be giving up on her as well. Good for you for walking anyway.

Raelynn--good going on not eating in the evenings. I started that when I was PG and had gest. diabetes. I didn't eat after 8 p.m. then because I had to take my blood sugar levels at 9 and give myself an insulin shot and I didn't want to have to stay up late and wait at least an hour to take it. Now I generally don't eat after 9 p.m. other than the occassional popcorn with a movie.

Ok didn't quite make my goal, but I did go 4 days and tomorrow I will take my dogs for a 15 min walk each (total 45 min). I think that will make up for my missed day at Curves.

I only used salt on one thing this week--my mom made black eyed peas and didn't use any salt in cooking them and I just couldn't stand it without. I did try several bites before adding the salt.

The fat I did horribly on. I think I stayed under maybe 3 days. I'm going to try harder this week though.
