Question What to eat at Chili's??

Can someone help with phase 1 and phase 2 suggestions for Chili's?? I eat there once a week with a friend and am at a loss when looking at the menu. It won't let me include a link, but there is a chili's website where I enter my zip code (77479) and can look at the menu. Thanks in advance!!

Hi, Katy--

My husband's family is IN LOVE with Chili's, so we go there quite frequently. Some of my favorite OP favorites there are the Citrus Fire Chicken and Shrimp fajitas (not really that spicy); these would fit Phase II. If you're still in phase I, you can get the Citrus Fire Chicken and Shrimp as it's own meal as well w/rice or veggies (usually substitute double veggies for the rice). The Lettuce Wraps (also phase I) are also nice, made with chicken (can be a little spicy), water chestnuts, and almonds, and served with a peanut sauce and a sesame ginger sauce. I know they have a "guiltless grill" menu as well as some salads to choose from, too.

I always go with the chicken cesear salad with no croutons. Or, depending on the soup of the day, I'll get the soup and salad combo.

They have several really good salads that you can always tweak to make them SBD. I like the Southwestern Cobb- I get it with grilled chicken instead of the deep fried and have them leave off the corn. It is mighty tasty!

What do you guys do about dressing? I'm getting tired of running home to get dressing to bring with me, and 2 Tbsp does not properly cover these huge salads. Do we just wing it and use the dressing they give us?
