OK Girls and guys.. We've got to get pumped!! Let's get some fire under our butts. The 4th of July will be here in 19 days..
Will you make your goal?
Whats your status- this will be a good check to see if its smooth sailing or if we need to kick it up a notch.. Nothin' like a little MOTIVATIONAL FUN !
SO... Refresh our memory in your response. List your goal / and current status.
I'll go first: Lose 15lbs -weigh 170 / currently 172
i had to check back and see what my goal was. it was to be down to 275 lbs. i am at 285 lbs. right now and i feel i am going to get real close. good luck to all of you.
My goal was to be down to 199 pounds. I am currently at 205 pounds. So, I have six pounds to go. I think to get to 199 I had to lose a total of 20 pounds. I will have to check and make sure. It's going to be so, so , so close for me. The couple of weeks I have been averaging 2 pounds each time. I won't be able to weigh though until July 5th, because the place I weigh will be closed on the 4th which is a Sunday. I'm really watching it this week to try to get a 3 pounds loss which will help out bunches.
Gretchen, you only have 2 pounds to go!! You are going to make yours early!! Way to go!!
Edit: I checked, it was indeed 20 pounds lost as my goal to get to 199 for the 4th of July challenge.
Mine was to be able to wear my two shrits that I have not been able to wear. I am in them but they are just ever so slightly snug on that last button. I should be fine by July 4 though.
I started at 225 on March 8. (Almost 4 months now) I am totally amazed at my results. I average about a 3.5 lb loss per week. Its become such a habit (what I eat and my exercise routine) that I don't even feel like I am on a weight reduction plan. I almost feel guilty for losing weight and living a normal (or what has become my normal) eating lifestyle and still enjoying my food! Congrats to you Dana on rejoining weightwatchers this week. You will do wonderfully!! Keep a positive attitude!
My goal was to be able to jog a mile. Let's see I haven't worked in it at all. I've chosen swimming as my exercise of choice. I plan on going out tonight though to see how far I can get.
Ah, my goal was 289, but that was before I discovered that my starting weight was higher than I thought... I won't make 289, but maybe I can make 299 and get under 300 for good... Yes, in fact, I will. I'm going to get to 299 by July 4. And I'll never see 300 again.
I'm pretty sure I'm not going to make my goal due to some piddling around I did the past three or four weeks. But I'm okay with that and looking forward to the next challenge.
Hows everone doing this wonderful Monday morning??? Im really excited today, about several things.
1) My loss of 5 #s this week
2) My daughter is FINALLY over her ear infection!
3) My DH started his vacation this week, so I'll have him all to myself for 2 weeks. Of course, by that time, Im sure Ill be ready for him to go back to work!
