I just wanted to post a little review of my dinner that I had today.
I had the "Healthy Choice - Traditional Turkey Breast" frozen meal.
The meal consisted of a nice portion of thick, sliced turkey breast, covered in a brown gravy, a side of stuffing, some mixed veggies, and a side dessert of pumpkin raisin dessert.
The turkey was flavorful, moist, and was real. It tasted like I was eating turkey that I would make at home!
The gravy on top of the turkey was very good as well. It had a very good flavor.
The stuffing was good, maybe a *little* bland but it was certainly edible. The only problem I found with the stuffing is that near the end of the area where the stuffing sits, the stuffing was hard. I think maybe not enough steam got back there to cook it.
The mixed veggies were good too. The only thing with the veggies was that it was supposed to be peas, corn, and carrots mixed. It was all peas and corn, and believe it or not, only ONE carrot lol
The pumpkin raisin dessert was GREAT (especially because I wanted something sweet!) It had the texture of the filling of pumpkin pie, and tasted like it too! It also had bits of raisins mixed in. Honestly, I can say that I LOVED it.
Some people like Healthy Choice, others like Lean Cuisine, or Smart Ones, ect.... I tend to mix up what meals I buy, but so far, I have really liked the Healthy Choice meals.
I would definatly recommend this frozen meal to others.
