My name is Michelle and I'm here looking for support and accountability.
My story...48 yr old female with T2 diabetes controlled with long lasting insulin. I've lost 25lbs since the first of the year and 44lbs from my all time high. I currently weigh 196 and I'm 5'5".
A lot has happened this year, I lost my Mom in March, met my boyfriend shortly after that, started eating low carb, was taken off one of my insulins per my doctor (YAY), started mountain biking and just being more active in general (thanks to BF mentioned above), moved in with my boyfriend in August and here I am today. I believe all of those things contributed to my weight loss. But now it's the holidays and winter and I'm less active and eating more junk.
I'm looking forward to posting and getting to know others!
