Red face What are your favourite changes so far?

Just a fun post -- what changes in your body, mind , life, etc have you noticed and enjoyed most so far?

For me, I'm 11lbs down, which is just a fraction of what I want to lose, but I'm delighted anyway. I've already noticed changes...
  • Low carb has left me less bloated in my belly - yay!
  • I have more energy
  • Walking and climbing stairs are already easier than before
  • I'm cooking more things at home and saving money by not eating out

I am enjoying starting to feel stronger (I have retstarted my kettlebell workouts). I worked up to an 8kg kettlebell a few years ago so had to start back at 4kg.

For me, it's the physical fitness aspects. Last year I was the slowest person in my group of lady hiking buddies. This year I was the fastest. Last year walking caused my feet and knees to hurt - my feet would literally ache after a hike due to the extra weight I was carrying. Saturday I went on a 10 mile hike, my feet did not hurt after. Stuff like that. I notice things like that often- this used to hurt, now it doesn't.

Still early for me .
*My water buildup feels relieved when I eat far less and better.
*I have ever slightly more energy
*My choices in the closet is getting more fun.
*My mood is improving some. I hit
a big sadness while I was ignoring my extra #s.

I love hearing everyone's happy points! I can't wait to get to some of those myself...my closet choices haven't open up much yet, but I know it will come in time...I have a lot of really "flexible" clothes, so no need to move to others for quite a while.

Desire2b -- I was really sad too, my whole outlook is much lighter now, and much more positive. I feel like I've taken control.

Angie: to be honest, it's not so much I've chged enough to like my choice in the closet. It's more like I was already halfway between sizes. Ive been squishing myself into my clothes.

I'm happy to look better in them though.

Two new ones for me:

I'm not feeling hungry as often
My underwear and bras fit better

Desire2b -- I understand completely, and that's why I feel better in my undies this week, they just fit better and are more comfortable. I don't feel like my bras are so tight and pinchy.

My bras fit better, too- I don't have that dreaded side boob any more. My undies, on the other hand are hanging off my butt and I need to buy some new ones in a smaller size, haha.

Congrats ladies on those lost pounds.

I'm liking my newfound (refound) conscience eating.
the other day I ate a 3/4 cup of icecream. Not 5x that.

Eagle River Dee -- I could use some new undies too...sometimes mine fall down, inside my pants...it's the weirdest thing.

Desire2b -- that's a great one, getting back some self control or managing cravings is huge.

I thought of one more...I noticed last week that I could comfortably cross my legs again...it was so awkward for a while that I had just stopped.

My knees don't hurt when I go up and down stairs, even a LOT of stairs.

I can walk for a really long time without getting tired.

I still don't like the heat but it's a whole lot more tolerable without 50 extra pounds to carry around.

My A1C, bp, and cholesterol are all NORMAL.

All of my clothes I was wearing when I started are too big. I dug deeper in my closet and wore some thing I haven't worn in a while, then even deeper and hit things I haven't worn EVER... a lot of this stuff is super old (ten years) and doesn't look current, but I held on to it anyway. Now it's too big and I can finally let it go and not feel guilty about the money I spent on clothes I didn't wear, or that never fit quite right.

I have so many more options with clothes, even shoes. It's amazing. I am just a smidgen above straight sizes, and I can't wait for that.

I don't snore anymore!!!

My brother, who is a great brother, friend, father, and all around wonderful guy, decided to join WW as well and he's down 25 pounds already. My husband has also lost about 40 pounds. It's so nice for us all to be on the same page, and we are all a lot less miserable than we were 25, 40, and 50 pounds ago.

I've met some great people through my WW meeting and I'm glad to know them. They are great motivators and inspiration, and good friends as well.

It has come as a surprise to me that I can set goals, make committments, and stick with them. I'm super proud of that.

FITTING into a smaller bra size

smaller waist, hip, and chest MEASURMENTS

WEIGH LESS on the scale by -10 lbs w/in last 4 weeks

SLEEPING better due to more EXERCISE and FT WORK SCHEDULE too

drinking more WATER to feel full naturally and prevent BINGES

aware of EATING HEALTHY FOODS, except for BINGE days....

Re-Organizing my personal time SCHEDULE better

different MIND SET to WORK HARD with 10 Lb weight loss

AWARE still have 40 more to LOSE....

But MORE MOTIVATED after recent weight loss too...

The feeling that I am less dependent on carbs for energy gives me an incredible confidence and satisfaction.

Default Soooo many changes to be happy about!

I started keto-dieted on my own & lost 10 lbs. I joined IP on June 14th & have lost 35 more lbs since then (yaaaay) and many inches! Here's my list:

I'm smaller all over, including my chest!

My blood-work result improvement have been HUGE! - including the inflammation in my blood = pain is much less!

My auto-immune diseases (Fibromyalgia & chronic fatigue immune dysfunction) seems to be flaring less frequently.

Cravings are gone! And when I do crave what my kids eat, taking a single big sniff of their (fries, sweets, fresh bread) food is all I need. It works! lol.

I just got out of Plus-sized clothes!!!

I feel like me again, even though I still have a long way to go (40 more pounds). I feel attractive again.

Wow! That's a lot of positive benefits. I'm strongly leaning on trying Keto. I just bought Mark Sisson's new book "The Keto Reset Diet" and I've been reading and listening to Dr. Jason Fung re IF which I've been trying for about a month now. Looks like I'm on the right track, based on your results! Way to go!
