Yaaay, Tuscany! I wish I could run again, but it just hurts too much right from the get go now. I run for 40-60 minutes in the deep water at the pool instead. Gets me winded and sweaty (although that's hard to tell) and it's a good power workout. I do miss the scenery though.

I ran my first 5k in the fall and have run four more since. I love it!!! I have never liked running, so this is new to me. I want to start training for a half marathon this year.

I completed C25K, ran three 5Ks in the fall (won my age group in all 3!), and am currently using a training plan to get ready for a half marathon in early April. I'm signed up for a 10K in January, and am considering a second one and a possible 15K in February.

I LOVE running.

Funny there seem to be quite a few of us doing this

Like HIS & kelly, my DH & I did a 5K Turkey Trot (he did the 10K) - I went out, still in P3, after 3 or 4 training runs, and placed 3rd in my age group (I'm 39) & 18th overall!
We are now training for a 10 miler on Valentine's, a 1/2 marathon March 12, and we were selected in the lottery to run the Cherry Blossom 10 miler April 3.
Definitely caught the running bug!

Bumping again for all the new IP'ers who would like to exercise (for their sanity, if nothing else)
