9. One weightloss lie you've heard.
My favorite was a weight loss commercial promising to pack all the nutritious goodness of Japan's food into a little pill for you to take to lose weight, touting how Japanese people are the longest-lived in the world. Yes, the Japanese have long lifespans and are pretty skinny on average, but trust me, that's lifestyle and portion control, not the food itself. They love their carbs (rice, noodles, etc.), their fried foods (karaage, gyoza, etc.), and their sweets (I receive cakes and cookies in the office on almost a daily basis).
10. The best tip you've received with regard to long lasting slimness.
There's nothing you can't have tomorrow, so you don't have to eat it all today. <-- Helped me a lot with remembering I don't have to satisfy all my cravings at once. I have a fair number of them for chocolatey things, as I'm now reaching the end of my weight loss journey and am looking forward to slowly incorporating them back in (on a far more moderate and healthy basis).
