Make 2017 Your Goal Year! Challenge 1/8: New Years Day to Valentine's Day
Hey everyone! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and there was not too much damage done over the holidays. I want to reach my goals by the end of 2017.
I’m wondering would anyone like to join me in a yearly challenge? Now, don't panic at the thoughts of going into this from January 1st to December 31st! For me, it would be near impossible to stay focused for a full year so I have decided to split the year into 8 challenges or 8 mini targets to reach. Each challenge represents a 6-8 week time during the year.
Challenge 1: New Years Day to Valentine’s Day (January 1st to February 14th) Challenge 2: Valentine’s Day until April Fools Day (February 14th to April 1st)
Challenge 3: April Fools Day until Mother's Day (April 1st to May 14th)
Challenge 4: Mother's Day until Independence Day (May 14th to July 4th)
Challenge 5: Independence Day to Labor Day (July 4th to September 4th)
Challenge 6: Labor Day to Columbus Day (September 4th to October 9th)
Challenge 7: Columbus Day until Thanksgiving Day (October 9th to November 23rd)
Challenge 8: Thanksgiving Day to New Years Eve (November 23rd to December 31st)
Weigh in days for challenges will be once a week. I weigh in on Monday, you may edit your post with your weigh in date.
I will post a new thread for each new challenge as they approach. This means the thread will not get super duper long by end of the year. Also, anyone can jump in at any point in the year!

I will join in. My weigh in day will be Saturday.
I have some lofty goals and I know I might not reach them all but I will work hard and try my best to do it. It's an incentive and reason to work hard. Challenge 1: New Years Day to Valentine’s Day (January 1st to February 14th) Goal = minus 25 (from highest point 248.6) = 223.6 Challenge 2: Valentine’s Day until April Fools Day (February 14th to April 1st) Goal = minus 24 = 199.4 Challenge 3: April Fools Day until Mother's Day (April 1st to May 14th) I will push this one to May 25th when I go on vacation. Goal = minus 20 = 179.4
Challenge 4: Mother's Day until Independence Day (May 14th to July 4th) Goal = maintain
Challenge 5: Independence Day to Labor Day (July 4th to September 4th) Set new goals to continue weight loss
Challenge 6: Labor Day to Columbus Day (September 4th to October 9th)
Challenge 7: Columbus Day until Thanksgiving Day (October 9th to November 23rd)
Challenge 8: Thanksgiving Day to New Years Eve (November 23rd to December 31st)

Thanks so much for starting this. It's just the motivation I need. My weigh-in is on Sunday, so I have also adjusted the dates, with the exception of the last one.
A total of 4.8 for the week. All the holiday water weight, plus another 1.2lbs on top of it. I'll take that, but I'm fully expecting it to slow down to 1-2 pounds per week after this.
Oh yah! I love this challenge. Was looking for it, thanks for posting again this year! This year I plan to stick around and really try to conquer all of the challenges.
