Morning all...thought I'd post my food here for once. Doing fat fast type menu and an induction type dinner to try and restart things now... I think I left ketosis briefly and I'm suffering because of it.
Breakfast:
1 whole boiled egg plus one egg yolk, mixed w/ 1 tsp mayo (1)
Morning Snack:
1 oz hard cheese (1)
Lunch:
1 whole boiled egg w/ 1 tsp mayo (1)
Afternoon snack:
1 oz hard cheese, 1 T sunflower seeds (2)
Dinner:
Pesto Sausage (2)
1 cup spinch salad (1) w/ 1 T olive oil
After dinner: a hard boiled egg (1)

total: 8 carbs, <1000 cals (as per the fat fast)

Only going to do the low cal, ultra high fat thing for a few days... I'll probably turn into an egg by then.

hey? pork rinds are 0 carbs? I haven't even thought about those, but that would be really good when I'm looking for something crunchy and salty! yum

Yep. I love pork rinds -- especially BBQ! They are great for snacks or for breading meat. There is even a mock French toast recipe that uses ground pork rinds. They are wonderful things!

Default Tuesday's Menu

Where do you get the BBQ pork rinds? I've been really wanting some, but all I can find around here are plain or spicy. The LC stores have cheddar and cinnamon/splenda, but still no BBQ!

Breakfast:
Extra sharp cheddar - .5
Sausage - 0

Lunch:
Subway wrap - 7
Diet coke w/lime - 0

Dinner:
Soooooo bad! I had a spoonful of PB - 5

Mardi Gras drinks:
Absolute citron w/diet 7-up - 0

Total = 12.5

I can't find BBQ pork rinds in the major stores. I find them at dollar stores and discount grocery stores, like Save-A-Lot. They also have salt and vinegar, but I haven't tried those, and I'm not sure if I want to... I'd love to try cheddar or cinnamon/splenda! Maybe we could have a pork rind swap!

jdogg - you are totally right. I temporarily lost my mind or something bec I knew it was 3 carbs for 1 oz - I think Star and I had just talked about that last week. But thanks - I really appreciate ya'll paying attention to my food log - that is one of reasons I'm posting it here, so ya'll can help me out and keep me straight and catch anything I'm doing (or logging) wrong.
Thanks for all the help!
