Default The September Challenge!!!

Anyone who is interested in tracking their weight on a spreadsheet is welcome to join. We will start September 1st. Those of you who are tracking on the Summer spreadsheet can continue right along into Fall. If seeing your numbers laid out on a weekly basis will motivate or inspire you... then add your name!!

So what exactly is the "challenge"? The challenge is the competition you'll be having with yourself... the spreadsheet is like your own personal score board. We can cheer each other on while being supported in our fight or battle. It really is called the "battle of the bulge" for a reason. You can join in at any time. You can add your name now in anticipation, or even track with us on our summer sheet for that last few weeks if you wish!!!

Of course, I'm in! I think if the rest of the month continues how I'd like it to, I'll be aiming for 199 by the end of our fall challenge. That's a frightening prospect.

199 Milestone material.. At the end of the fall challenge you'll be so happy for dedicating yourself to yourself. You've been having awesome numbers every week, It's really excited to watch you succeed, even just through a message board and spreadsheet. What you're doing is working.. =)

Aw, thank you, Cheyenne. There is so much for me to be proud of right now and so much that keeps me motivated. I'm down 40 lbs today from my official start date (well, 40.6) and it means I've lost all the weight I regained not just from my last attempt but from my very first attempt. I've been going for longer this time then ever and having something like the spreadsheet to look at and see my progress on help so much.

I'll join! I am tracking on my own spreadsheet but I could use some extra accountability! I have a goal of being down to 140 by my 50th birthday (Nov. 19). I weighed 140 on my 40th, but I'm about 155 right now.

I would say use the goal weight as where you'd like to be after the ten weeks are up. It might not be your final goal weight, but where would you like to be around Nov. 10th ? =)

Welcome to 3FC. It's a fun place to be. To join the September challenge all you need to do is click the link to the spreadsheet. Add your name and weight, goal weight... and bookmark the page so you can return to add your new weight on a weekly basis. The spreadsheet is set up to weigh in on Mondays, but that is just a guideline, do what works for you. I prefer Mondays myself, because they feel like the start of something new to me. And of course you can return to this thread as frequently as you like to cheers others on in their progress, announce your successes, or vent about any struggles. Glad you're joining us!! =)

Great idea, Cheyenneb4u! Just added my name to the list.

While I haven't been uber-successful with the weight-loss challenges, I am a little successful and much of that success has to do with these challenges. They keep me motivated and accountable.

I am in. So glad there will be another challenge for Fall!
I am hoping to reach my final goal with this one, but as long as the numbers keep going in the right direction I will be happy.
