Default I'm new!

Hi everyone,

I'm new so thought I'd say hi and introduce myself. I've been vegan for 3 and a half years but am living proof that you can be an overweight vegan (Oreos and peanut butter don't help there!)

I just came back from holiday where I gained five pounds in a week and this was kind of my wake up call that I need to do something about it and have a healthy lifestyle.

I don't have much support as a lot of my friends are in shape and healthy, or seem to be able to eat whatever they like so support on here would be greeeat

Okay, well, nice to meet you!

KK

Hi Kitkat
Just replied to your running thread. Nice to meet you and good on you for getting back to working out and sorting the food! We are vegetarian now and I really enjoy it as was never very keen on meat. Good luck. Bev

Welcome KitKat! The veg/vegan parts of the board are pretty slow -- but there are a fair number of us vegan folks sprinkled about the site!

I also had NO problem being an overweight vegan, no problem at all, lol. So I'm right there with you!

Hi Mrs Snark!

Nice to know I'm not the only overweight vegan...! At least I already love vegetables, so that works in my favour now I'm trying to only eat whole foods and nothing processed (damn those vegan marshmallows!)
