Hi Mariamia
Have you read Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution 2002 or prior versions? It is very important to read the book BEFORE doing this plan so you fully understand how and why it works when done correctly.
Induction is 20 net carbs per day, with 12-15 of those carbs coming from veggies & salads on the Acceptable Foods list.
Here is my opinion of your menu. Be mindful of cheese, I know it is allowed during Atkins Induction but, it is a common staller and lots of people find they must greatly limit it if not avoid it all together. You are allowed 2 to 4 ozs. but, most people can't tolerate this much. The taco salad, are you making the seasoning? Most packaged taco seasoning contains sugar and other fillers. Also be mindful of tomato's, 4 ozs., of raw tomato are 5.7 carbs with 1.6 grams of dietary fiber. Also, 3 ozs., of avocado is 7.4 carbs with 2.5 grams of dietary fiber. I'm not saying these aren't allowed foods, you just need to be mindful not to overeat them. Pepperoni contains a lot of sodium which could cause you to retain water. You need to add some green veggies and a small salad to your dinner Last, but most certainly not least, stay far away from those Atkins chocolate peanut candies! Those are NOT for Induction (yes, I know what the label says). Chocolate nor peanuts are permitted during Induction.
I hope this helps. With a few tweaks, you will find this does work!
Unless you ate a ton of avacado, probably not. Lettuce only works out to like 1-2 net carbs for 2 cups. I personally don't find if feasible to get all my veggie net carbs from salads. Do you like any other vegetables?
Yup, I got had by those Atkins products too! I was doing very well, had lost over 20 lbs already on induction (extended) - used them for a couple days and gained over 6lbs.
