Yea I'm kind of prudish and dislike cursing but she's really hilarious and an interesting strong woman that goes against a lot of celebrity norms.

I LOVE Margaret Cho. I remember watching her do stand up and talk about how she did an all dried apricot diet once and pooped her pants in her car. I was rolling.

Thanks for the Cho link. I, for one, find her expletives invigorating. (As an aside, there was an article in this morning's paper about a new study suggesting that swearing is psychologically healthy. Having used this technique to deal with Toronto traffic jams, I have to agree.)

I don't really curse but I do say "d*** it" when I stub my toe. And guess what, my toddler has picked it up so that one has to go too!

Thanks for sharing the link. It WAS funny, although it bothers me sometimes that comedians can't be funny without vulgarity.

Wannabeskinny, it surprises me sometimes that my 5 year old grandson will pick up what we say when I didn't even think he was paying attention!

There is actually someone who has a website called the F- it "diet." The word is spelled out. I just came across her by accident a few days ago.

She has some really good stuff to say about IE. She sends out newsletters as well.

Sigh. I've been on that diet, and I've gained about 20 lbs in the past six months. I would love to practice IE, but I guess my brain is so out of whack that I can't really tell what I want anymore.

Isn't this basically a portion control diet?

No. It's not a diet.
