Guess I'm a 30 something now
I turned 30 in February, sometimes it still feels like I'm in my 20s mentally for sure. Physically my body feels older as of lately. I'm so over yo-yo crap the last 5 months lose 5 lbs gain 5 back, it's no good. I was able to lose quite a bit before but I had a goal like my wedding to look forward too, so now I'm trying to create equal goals and stick to them. I am a tattooed girl so I swear no more tattoos till I hit my goals
my first goal is
190, pansy tattoo it's small but it'll be a 15 lb loss from where I am now.
175, beehive girl tattoo another 15 lb loss total loss of 30 lbs
160, Luna doll tattoo another 15 lb loss total loss 45lbs
145, fleur mandala tattoo, 15 lb loss, total loss 60 lbs, I am aiming for this to be hit by February of next year that's a little less than a year to lose. This tattoo placement will be on an area that I would not get tattooed right now, my upper arm area or upper stomach right under my breast. This is far away but eithe way it will require me to feel more confident in myself to get it done.
Goals goals goals!
Running, lifting, spinning, Pilates, Bikram yoga, those will all be my plan of attack of course healthy eating

Those are great rewards, dolly! I am turning 33 tomorrow, and know what you mean about that conflict between your where your brain's at and where your body's at. I mean, your body just decides it's going to make things harder on you, but that doesn't mean you can't rise to the challenge!
When I was in my late 20s I was on a college rugby team and had to work harder than everyone else just to stay at the level I needed to be at. A girl on the team caught me running a warm up mile before practice and was like "dang - overachieve much?" and I was like "I'm just trying to keep up with your 19 year old bodies."

Welcome to the 30s! They're awesome. Don't worry about feeling 20, I'm 33 and I feel 20 too... until I hang out with 20 year olds. Ha! People still don't think I'm 33, they think I'm in my twenties so I can't complain.
I have found that in my 30s and through this weight-loss process I'm learning to love myself and to just accept me for who I am more than I ever did.
Being 30-ish rocks.

I'm 32 and I've probably got a mentality of a 12 year old, let alone a 20 year old, so you have nothing to worry about. Welcome to the 30s, as many have said, they do rock! I love your idea of tattoo rewards, I've been toying with one for my final goal. Out of curiosity, what's a beehive girl?

I turned 30 four years ago and I still feel that way! LOL not sure it ever changes. Actually, the older I get the more "me" I feel....it's kind of an awesome thing. Feel more comfortable in my own skin, even if I do have more skin than I want to have at the moment. Welcome to 30!

I am turning 30 in August and it's freaking me out!
My goal is to be 125 by then...I know it's only a loss of 1.2 pounds but I can feel an extended plateau coming, so fingers crossed.
Mentally, I am about 24, and it boggles my mind that people this age now were born in 1991.

I'm 32 - almost 33. I have the opposite problem, I make myself older in my head. Earlier this year I was thinking I was 37... adding 5 whole years! I don't know where it came from, but I was relieved when I remembered I was only 32 still.
I should set up some rewards for goals. I was thinking some spa time. I do want to get one more tattoo, a lion on my shoulder. Also would like to get a more sparkle-y wedding set from the hubby. What I have now is just a teeny tiny solitaire, but also can't wear it on my hand since I was 20 pounds lighter then. Just being able to wear it would be nice!
