Hi turtles,
Cherry, I'm sorry your stress is creeping up. Here's some foods to help you out
his is a specific weight watchers program of low or no-fat and sugar free foods...............no prepared or processed foods except yogurt and reduced calorie breads.
If you look at the back of our trackers, you'll see a whole bunch of simply filling foods. Simple start takes most of these and then adds up to 7 points plus per day. If you don't use the 7 points plus in one day, you lose them.
You build your program on fresh, frozen or canned fruits without added sugar, lean proteins including beans, turkey, chicken, eggs, beef, pork, fish and shellfish and meat subs (like Boca burgers). Also include fresh, frozen or canned veggies and also potatoes are allowed. Whole grains are allowed, but the type you'd expect like the whole wheat and whole grain cereals. All dairy needs to be ff and they allow light breads as well as "thin" soups and sfJell-O. Of course condiments (be careful of the sugary ones like ketchup. BBQ sauce did not make the list. Also 2t. healthy oils.
We have several girls at our meeting using this program and doing well.
Remember, if you want to use a full fat cheese, you can as long as you deduct the 3points plus from your 7 day available.
You don't have to weigh or measure, but they caution that you eat only until you are satisfied. Cherry, I wish you well. You've been with us for your journey and you've done remarkably well. I want to mention that if this isn't specific enough for you you might want to join again and get the starting materials. The Simple Start book has nice recipes and suggestions for various breakfasts, lunches, and dinners as well as snacks. I know $ can be a problem for all of us but you don't want to gain any more weight back.
Getting the materials (right now our members can join free and just pay the weekly fee) might cost you under $13 and I bet it would be a blessing to have these great ideas in front of you.
Wishing you the very best!
Judy
