Default Super bummed!!!

I've gained back every single pound I had lost since January 1st.
It's super disheartening to watch the scale go Up every single day.

HUGS . I hear you and second your frustration. I haven't been able to move my ticker since the beginning of the year.

I also understand your frustration and disappointment. I think we've all been there at one time or another (frequently, in my case). But, I like to think that each time, I learned something about myself that will make long-lasting success more possible. It is my hope, and one must have hope! One day at a time...we'll get there!

Sorry Mozz, this business sure is rollercoastery at times! I had a two month period (last Nov/Dec) when I regained 20 lbs! May we both keep redirecting our ships in the right direction!

You can do it!!! You did it before, you know the steps you have to take to do it again.

This time it shouldn't be so hard...you laid out the path and just need to retrace your steps...easier than starting a new journey and not knowing where the road will take you.

Lots of cliches in there but hey, that train of thought is easy for me to jump on =)

I"ve just read the lovely book called French women don't get fat. Actually i'm almost at the end of it. You may find it inspiring and motivating. I have and i've learnt a few new things too.

One thing she did at the beginning of her diet was to do a weekend of leek soup. Its all explained in the book.

I did a one day water fast at the beginning of mine. It wasn't easy by any means but if you could do that, it might be enough to keep you going forward.

If you do a water fast, or any fast, you should really do it on a day off with no significant activity because its very draining. I did a lot of mental work that day and needed to do lots of little activities, changing from one to the other all day to manage the difficulty involved.

But try to read a nice book like the one i mentioned because reading is motivating.

Another tip i suggest to people when they are stuck is start off by eating at maintenance calories and not doing the restricting thing at all, until you think you can. Instead work on improving the nutrition and quality of the food you eat. Then when you are ready, you can tighten up the calories and your rules.

Mozzy!! I know how you feel. The good thing is you are still weighing yourself every single day so at the back of your mind you do want to lose weight and reach goal. Whatever your reasons are for gaining are surely temporary. You just have to make a conscious effort every single day. For me when I started stalling in September last year, I would eat the bad foods thinking "oh, I know how to lose this, I'll handle the extra calories" and somehow that stalled me forever.. I have only started losing again and I guess if I had not done that, I would be much closer to goal.
So whatever it is that's going on, push it aside and know that the feeling of seeing the scale read higher each day is not worth it. Good luck! You got this!
