Default Hello! Jumping back in! :)

Hello! I am Erin. I'm a mom to a pretty incredible kid, who has inspired me to be a better person. With that in mind, I am determined that this is the time to finally take control of my weight!

I have been overweight most of my life, dieting occasionally, but never getting over the first plateau before giving up. My son is 5, and has several severe medical and developmental special needs, and frankly, needs me to have more energy, and be the mom he deserves.

My husband and I started Weight Watchers (again!) 2 months ago, and I am down 19 pounds so far! My first goal is to hit 50 pounds some time this summer! I will work on setting more goals after that! (I need small tangible goals!)

Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Welcome back Erin Jean!
As the mom of a young adult with profound autism I understand your need to get healthier for your child. We are getting healthy as a family. Our daughters behavior has improved as our diet has improved.
Great job so far and good luck!

Welcome back. Try to remember the small blessings along the way when you are struggling. My ankles have been hurting pretty bad this week but *not as bad as they would be if I hadn't lost almost 50 pounds*. Stay positive!

Awesome! Thank you both for the encouragement! It is so much easier to do this with support, right?

Good luck. Don't give up. Take it slowly. You will get there.

Hi Erin! Welcome back. I recently joined Weight Watchers (again) as well, about a month ago. Good luck with your weight loss journey. You can do this!! And we'll be here to support you.
