Default New to SBD and....

I'm new to SBD. I am finding phase 1 relatively easy. No headaches (other than work headaches). I don't really love bread or fruits. So honestly other than the few fruits I do like as treats, I'm fine. I've been using a lot of bulk cooking, Kalyn's recipes and stuff. Except I just found out that my brother wants to go to Olive Garden next week for his birthday. I'm not sure if there is anything phase 1 friendly there at all. I'll have to restart phase 1 after that?

I hope I am doing this right. I'm kinda nervous that I am screwing it up coming from strict IFing and low calorie. I'm still tracking. I'm sticking under 2000 cals a day so far. I feel like all I do is eat sometimes just to make sure all my veggies are in!

My fallback position on Phase 1 at restaurants was always to eat meat and veggies and not concern myself with the fat content as long as I avoided all carbs. I sort of reverted to an Atkins approach for those occasions. Just avoid the pasta and bread - I know, easier said than done, but I just checked the menu and there are lots of things you can have that sound yummy. Good luck!

Welcome. And I agree. Salad with dressing on the side and protein, extra veggies.
