What's the one embarassing thing you do for fun?
Me? I read the naughty personals on Craigslist! Oh dear, some of them are just priceless

LOL, OMG, I do that as well. I have no interest in cheating or anything but I read them. Including the MFM, WFW ones.

I'm going to have to do that.
Mine is really embarrassing. I've been known to kill online time at findadeath. It's the site run by a guy that operates a "hollywood death spots" tour in CA. It's literally just pictures and stories of old and current celebs and random details about their deaths. Now, I swear that I'm not a necrophile or even particularly interested in the "death" part, but I like reading the write ups on random celebrities and seeing pictures of their houses, reading the gossip about them, etc. I don't go to the forums there any more because it got to such a negative place, but I still go read the stories and look at the pictures. I've always been an old Hollywood buff, so it's just part of that.
I also like OTR. which is the radio sitcoms and dramas from the 30's and 40's (like tv shows, just audio). I love listening to them.

Radiojane~ I'm loving your profile pic! I'm a Doctor fan too. In fact, I'm watching Dr. Who now. I don't see anything wrong with embarrassing and guilty pleasures. It keeps our mind young and vibrant lol. Me being a girl geek and gamer. I have plenty to share but for now... I still watch cartoons when I can (No, I don't have any children lol)

Oh, gosh this is embarassing. You know how at one point when you were little, you probably tried to see if you had some sort of super power?
Well, I still try.
I try to see if I can communicate with the meta physical world. I get really meditative and then I ask the Universe or my deceased mother to tell me something specific pertaining to my sister who is a little bit in tune with this sort of stuff. Like what did she buy at the supermarket today? Was it eggplants? And then I call her up and find out.
It never works though. lol.

I look at Craiglist personals too! Some are simply hilarious. My alltime fave that I actually saw on the site... My Baby Need A Daddy
I also watch a lot of cartoons. And, I do a lot of research on paranormal and metaphysical topics. I've been studying the paranormal since I was in elementary school. I used to get teased a lot because of it.

I saw one on Craigslist the other day- lady was selling a pickup truck, a late 70's fully restored Ford, jacked up and immaculate. Said, "I don't know what it's worth. It was my husband's truck but he cheated on me so he won't need thi any more." She was asking $2500 OBO, the truck was probably worth about $10,000 with all the work he'd done to it.

I like to find karaoke songs on you tube and serenade the dogs!!! On more than one occasion I have lost track of time and my husband has walked in on my performance. I'm glad he's doesn't give me too much grief about my singing abilities or lack there of... lol Craigslist is just crazy It's interesting to see what people put on there.

I think I like YA fiction better than fiction aimed at adults. Why do I like to read Scholastic books?? Not sure. I am sometimes embarrassed by reading Halequin type books, also. Then, there is 50 Shades which was like the most horribly written Cinderella does submission fauxrotica I have ever read and I couldnt put that nonsense down. And, whats with the cheesy Lifetime and Hallmark Christmas movies that are just bad...and I watch them every year anyway. Oh yeah, and high school movies. I am a sucker for high school movies. Maybe I am just young at heart...sounds better than immature, right? Lol

I get these little obsessions with a TV show, video game or a character and then I go on tumblr, search for them and keep scrolling for hours. It's a massive, MASSIVE waste of time, but man, is it satisfying.
Sometimes I also have the urge to listen to songs I used to listen to as a kid, so I go on youtube and watch old Backstreet Boys and Spice Girls songs

In many instances, I do to. I'm reading the "Divergence" series right now. I loved the "Harry Potter" books. I have, to this day, a whole slew of books in my library that I got as a kid that I love to re-read like the "Black Stallion" series. I'll never get rid of those books.

Totally agree. My two latest favorites are the Miss Peregrine books by Ransom Riggs. I couldn't put them down!
