Default Reached the halfway point in losing excess weight
Hi Folks,

Today was a special day for me. I reached the half way point in losing my excess weight. It feels a little daunting that I still have the other half to go but freaking unbelievable that I have come this far.

Dee, that's wonderful. I remember when I hit my halfway mark, I just couldn't believe I'd done it. The goal just seemed so unreachable, but staying at it certainly pays off, it's always possible! Good luck on the second half!

More good news! As we know, it is not just about pounds lost.

I spent two days at the Mayo Clinic this week. I have been taken off 3 of my 4 heart meds, and the one that makes my heart sing!!! - They said I am no longer diabetic. My A1c was 5.0 and fasting glucose 73. Yikes!!! I am so happy!!!

Thanks to all for your encouragement and examples.

Good for you!! You must feel so proud! I have a friend who was on meds for high blood pressure, I was trying to encourage her to get healthy so that she wouldn't need the meds...sadly, I don't think she's ready to take on the journey yet though. I'm so glad you made that choice for yourself
