Good morning! Feels like I haven't been on here forever! I started reading the Fifty Shades boos on Friday and couldn't put them down... Finally finished the third last night around 1am. Regretted it when my alarm went off at 7! Hope everyone has a great day. -37 here with the windchill...let's hope my car starts!!

This is a carry over from yesterday's daily chat. Where can you find liquid amino's? Do Sprouts (cheaper version of Whole Foods) or Whole Foods or Natural Grocers carry them?

OK, I experienced a complement yesterday where I now know how some feel when others draw attention to their weight loss. I actually like complements about it but....

A lady at work (who is a few tomatoes short of a thick sauce) yesterday went on and on about my weight loss and asked if I had lost a hundred pounds! Thank you..... I think?????

Lafayette does not have a Whole Foods (gasp! It's currently being built and will be open this summer) but I get mine at a local grocery store called Rouses. I'm sure Whole Foods would have it!

I think most grocery stores sell liquid aminos in their "natural or organic" section as well as every health store I've ever been to.

Morning all! Brrr it's cold outside! had to go to bed early last night. I was craving a piece of candy last night so bad. All I wanted was one piece of a good dark chocolate . :/
It was making me crazy! So I went to bed and had crazy dreams all night.

Everybody keep warm! Today is the second day the boys and I are home together. The school district where I teach is closed and so is DS kindergarten. A little cabin fever since we have not left the house since Saturday.

Last night as I'm eating my salad, I'm thinking to myself, this walden farm dressing really is delicious. As I'm cleaning the kitchen, I noticed a bottle of regular Thousand island dressing on the counter. Oops!!!!

Thanks all for the info on the liquid aminos - I will look for them when I buy groceries this weekend.

I hope you all that are in the throws of this "artic vortex" get some relief soon. We were very cold yesterday here in Colorado, but will be 50 today. That's one thing about weather in the Denver area - we don't see extended periods of extremely cold weather.

Good morning everyone - well, I survived Christmas/NY. Fell off my 100% goal a bit, found the two weeks much more challenging that I had anticipated. However, it was not nearly as bad as it could have been, I did manage to continue losing. But it really is a slippery slope, and it reinforced to me how difficult maintenance is going to be. It's much easier to stay OP now that I'm back at work at my desk, structure is better for me.

A funny moment this morning - at the boxing week sales I picked up a pair of jeans without trying them on, they were only $10. Size 12 (which I am THRILLED to be back in). Slipped them on this morning and had the revelation that just because you CAN wear something doesn't mean you SHOULD. The super-skinny style does not suit my 47 year old self. At all. Giving them to my 20 year old cousin....
