Default Hey shorty!

I was wondering what us shorter people are doing. I'm anywhere from 5 ft nothin to 5ft 2in on a good tall day . Currently my goal weight is 135. I'm trying to get there by 4/20 because that's my schedule TT (removing a rather large apron)
My hubby thinks that's too small. But I think I'll still be decently thick at 135. I have a friend who weighs 160 (same as I do) but she's 5ft 9 and is stunning where I'm still chunky. So obviously height plays a huge roll in the numbers.

Just wondering what the shortys out there think

I have a sister who's 4'11" and she's lost quite a bit of weight. I don't think I could ever realistically get down to her weight (being 4" taller), but the numbers are right for her and she looks very healthy. Our mom was getting on her over the holidays for losing too much weight and she just kept patiently pointing out that her doctor was pleased with the weight loss and it had been done in a healthy way ("so MYOB" was the subtext).

I think it's hard for taller people to imagine the smaller numbers being healthy because they aren't taking into account how small you are vertically too.

Hi Shorty- goal weight is very personal decision but I think what YOU think is the most important thing to consider .
I am your height and my goal weight is lower ..... But I am rebooting cuz of weight gain!!
So my advice is to go with your gut of what would be success to you!
I have a picture in my head what it looks like to me, and have achieved it in the past! Now am trying to work my way back to my Sweet Spot again.
Good luck and just be sure it is your vision of what you want to look like...No one's opinion is as important as yours ....Cuz you have to live in your skin and feel comfortable with the body you walk around in,

I am 5'4" and my goal is currently 145, but I may decide to try to maintian at 150 or even 155. I have a large frame and have not been 145 since law school over 15 years ago, so that plays into my goal.

I'm half an inch shorter than you, and I personally feel best at 107-110. A couple of years ago I was around 103, but I realized that was too low for my frame. Health-wise, it was fine (good energy, etc), but I looked kinda gaunt.

When I was 135, I was probably a size 10? Maybe 8? But that weight may fall on you differently.

I am 5'2" and I feel best at 120-127 range. But depending on where you lose weight your comfort range could be different.
