Default So I just finished week 11, and I haven't hit one single plateau !!

How is that possible? In the past, on other diets, I always hit weight loss plateaus, where I didn't lose any weight or even saw a slight weight gain for a week or two. But geez, on 100% IP with no cheating, my weight and measurements have just gone straight down. I will admit that I have seen a very slight reduction in my weight loss rate in the past 6 weeks. In August, I was losing about 0.75 pounds per day on average. Starting Sept 1st, my weight loss rate dropped to right around 0.60 pounds per day (or about 4.2 pounds per week or 18 pounds a month on average). This is just INSANELY GREAT results for any diet. Actually my weight loss has been so consistent and well behaved I almost don't even need the scale to know what I weigh -- I just read the future date off my chart and see what my weight will be based on the linear regression line. That's crazy. In any case, I am sure the rate will continue to slow a bit each month as my basal metabolic rate keeps dropping as I get thinner, but I just could not be happier with the 100% (No Cheat) IP Diet.

One other thing really cool thing that I discovered today. This morning, my waist measurement was 44 3/8" and my weight was 273.75 lbs. I was looking through some old diet charts of mine from a previous diet (South Beach Style Diet) from the year 2004, and I found that on that diet, when I got my waist measurement down to 44 3/8, my weight was 258 lbs. In other words, I hit the exact same waist measurement today at a 16 pound higher scale weight than the last time I hit that waist measurement almost 10 years ago … WOW. That just goes to show how much more fat I am burning on IP. I have more muscle and less fat on IP. And I am looking skinnier (thinner in the waist) at a higher scale weight.

That's wonderful, Avalon! Can I ask how you make those nifty graphs? They really show your progression nicely.

I have the same awe when I look at my stats on IP. I started the first week of June, finished and transitioned into P4 on Sunday. I never had a plateau. Not one! I had a few weeks that were lower than the rest and over time my rate of loss slowed but I never got stuck. That has never happened on any other diet ever for me. I know not everyone has the same results, so I don't take it for granted. So glad I found IP. I never would have known about it were it not that my chiro brought it to his clinic. I thank him for it regularly!!!
