Question Thanksgiving I am already re-planning dinner

Ok I know that thanksgiving is a ways a way BUT since I am on this diet I am revamping my menu (not all of it but a good chunk) to comply with IP.

I so want mashed tatoes (thts wht my son calls them) but what else can I make. I found a website from an IP clinic that has 200 recipes on it so I need to look there too. But any ideas are welcomed

I checked out one of the tread's Lisa's referred to and I LOVE the idea of mixing pumpkin pie spice with a vanilla pudding. I think adding a bit of DaVinci's Pumpkin Pie syrup (along with pumpkin pie spice) would even make it better. Topped with WF marshmallow fluff sprinkled with cinnamon/nutmeg. A mock pumpkin pie slice !!! That could be your 4th pack (snack) for dessert after dinner.

I think I'm going to do just that

Wow. That sounds SUPER sweet! It makes my teeth hurt just thinking about adding more sweetener to an already sweetened packet.

The pumpkin pie spice would be good, tho

I de-sweetened a few years back (on purpose) and IP has been VERY sweet for me. I'm very selective on what I eat and work hard on figuring out ways to cut the sweet in all the packets, which is why I started adding alts so soon... unflavored syntrax nectar helped cut the sweet.

Somewhere there was a faux egg nog recipe, too.

Maybe on the incredible weight loss thread...a bunch of PDFs.

I've made faux egg nog with the ready made vanilla drink (its thicker than the powder) a couple drops of rum extract and a sprinkle of nutmeg on top.

Umm..Ditto..Guess I'm fortunate my sweet tooth was never a problem...and now with IP I've found many of the basic products are really already just too sweet unless I dilute them...
