Default Fell off the wagon but I'm back and ready!

So in March I started my diet, and was really successful, then one day I just kind of stopped. It was really hard for me living with my room mate and I don't think I had the right mindset. I went from 331 to about 302, unsurprisingly I am back up to the 320's. I just went through a terrible break up, and I realize, it's time to do something for me (I wanted to lose weight for HIM for 3 years!). I realized I will never be successful until I look out for number one: me. I'm starting again on Monday (real weigh in will be then). I graduate college in May and I am DETERMINED to look better walking across that stage.

For those of you who may remember me, I apologize for falling off the radar I was really embarrassed that I was failing, which only made things worse. I was contemplating making a new profile to rejoin the site and realized that accountability is one of my biggest struggles.

So there you have it. I'm here, I messed up, and I'm ready for round 2. Who's with me?

Thanks everyone! Good luck to all of you. Destyni, sorry to hear about the split, I know that's rough. I'm definitely way more in it this time than last time. I've never tried to lose weight for myself before it's such a strange sensation.

Congrats on getting back on the wagon before you went above your start weight. I have "dieted" my way up way past my "start weight".. which was 250 at one point...

I'm looking forward to getting to know you

Welcome back. I think they need to build bigger sides on these wagons. It's a safety hazard.

Congrats on restarting your weight loss journey! Look on the bright side, you didn't regain all the weight.

Also we are twins. Same hight, same starting weight and same goal!

Welcome back!

I just recommitted after a (too long) hiatus, myself - determined to take off the 42 lbs I gained back (plus some, if I can!)

I don't know how many times I have restarted my diet. I got down to 220 from 278 a few years ago Im back up to 248. Trying to get back into a routine has been tough!

Thanks guys. Today was the weigh in, I weighed 318 Friday and was up to 326.6 or 8 today, but I did have a ton of booze and food over the weekend. Ps JeniH we really are twins!

I started out at a similar weight as you and I think I'm on my second account now (or possibly third?)! I'm sticking it out with this one though. I know it's kinda embarrassing to fall off the wagon and need to start over, but no one here cares, as most of us have been through it ourselves. In fact, I carry an extra admiration for those that have toughed it out for years even if they've yet to reach their goals. I'm going on 9 years myself.

But you can totally do this! Stick around to help stay motivated. I see your ticker has 220 for your goal which struck a chord with me; while I've spent all of my life obese (or worse), I did manage to get down to the 220's twice before going back to old ways and regaining. When I reached 360 I promised myself that I needed to try to get down to at least 250, but I secretly had my eye on getting to 220. Part of me believed I couldn't do it, but the rest of me stubbornly pushed myself further and further. I finally made it under 220 for the first time ever this year, and then I got pregnant! I'm currently on a pregnancy break but will definitely get back on the wagon as soon as I can next year.

Anyway, hang in there! I'm rooting for ya.
