Very very cool - good for you! I'm planning on doing my first next summer. Do you have plans to run some more, or was this a "one and done" kind of thing?

Congrats!!

Congratulations!!!! I walked a half marathon a couple of years ago (and 40 pounds heavier) and just about ruined my feet for a couple of months. Must have been the sport shoes. I know you must have trained hard to finish it in less than 2 and a half hours. What an accomplishment.

Can't believe you did that at 251 Si! You are a star!

My longest run is 10k at the moment. I will try for 7 miles tomorrow.

At 220lbs I was running 1 mile tops.

You are so going to fly.

Plan is 2 more halves before Xmas. then its the Winter cross country season. Next year I'm planning a full marathon. My goals this year were to do a half in under 2:40 get sub 30 for a 5k and get under 70 for a 10k. So far i've achieved all.

2:27:59 Half. 66:33 10k and 29:50 5k. Next year the plan is to get under 28m for a 5k and around 60/61 for a 10k. I'd also like to get to around 2:20 for a half marathon and under 5:20 for a full marathon.

No doubt i'll end up doing some more odd train events etc.
