Default Foods I can't have in my apartment

So maybe this is a lack of willpower but I can't have these foods in my apartment or they will all be eaten in a short time period by me...
Cheese
Pasta
Pizza
Chocolate
Chips
Ice cream
Bagels
Cream Cheese
Smoked Salmon
Avocados (guacamole)

Now if I'm out somewhere I can control my portion size (usually) but not at home. Anyone else have this issue?

Me! I can't have cookies, crackers, chips, bagels, chocolate...really, most things that are snack-able. I have made myself buy super bland cereal so I only eat it when I need to eat something, not because I'm craving it. If I want a bagel (same as you!), I must go to panera bread and buy one (which I will rarely do). Everything else, I allow myself from time to time, but I have to take a special trip to the store for it.

Luckily, because of this, there have been SO many times that I have stared at my pantry because I WANT to snack, but there is nothing for me to snack on! So I shrug my shoulders and try to busy myself another way. It certainly has helped me!

Oh yes.

Can't have most refined carbs, sugars, or cereals, sadly =( Otherwise, if I'm in the binge mode, well....watch out!

baked goods such as cookies or cakes etc. Once I have one bite it is ON! I will snack on it until it is gone whether it be 1 serving or 10 or more

Pretty much any type of sweets; mainly chocolate and ice cream. Eating a pint of ice cream is wayyy too easy for me.

I will destroy classic chips, soft cookies, cheese and gourmet breads.

I'm okay with everything else.

Double stuffed and mint oreos- definitely a huge NO-NO.

Queso cheese or anything similar to it but I'm fine with block or shredded cheeses though.

Chips are still a trigger food for me. Really seems to be more of a mental thing, I feel like I need to eat the whole bag. I think I have a pretty good grip on the other foods, although I don't keep any of them in the house, but I'm not tempted to buy them either. still find myself tempted to buy the chips, but I know better. popcorn has been a big help there replacing them!

Lots of stuff I just don't eat, out of the things that I do eat but can't bring into the house, all that comes to mind is jelly and other sweet spreads, no sugar, honey, molasses, etc. Only a matter of time before I start pouring it over everything and neglecting to count the calories. At this point if it needs sugar I don't need to eat it.

I can't give up peanut butter for the life of me so I can only buy the single serving packages, same with raisins. I've really wanted to get chocolate chips or a different dried fruit for a recipe I usually use the raisins for but they don't come in 100 cal packs and I'm too lazy to do the repackaging myself. Same situation with almond and cashew butter both of which I love.

I do gluten free and I'm in a good place with that. I don't miss pizza, pasta, bread or most baked sweets. Ice cream continues to turn me into a monster though. It seems like my favorite kinds are always on sale, too....Can't have it in the house or I will feel like I need to eat it all.

I have a rule that if I eat an entire package in 1 sitting, it gets banned. Of course, I will bring foods back into the house only to have them banned again. If I don't feel satisfied with one serving, this food isn't for me.

My forbidden list seems long: snacks, sweets, nuts, cheese, bacon, and bread/grains. But the variety of fruits, vegetables, meats, and fish I can eat is pretty satisfying. I will have things at restaurants as long as I don't take leftovers home. That's how I get to still eat bacon.

For the past few months I've been having trouble with some types of crackers (like Wheat Thins) and cereals (like Honey Nut Cheerios). When I was losing weight I could keep these items in the house without eating more than a bite here and there, but for some reason it's become harder during maintenance. I finally decided I needed to keep these items out of a house. When I get cereal or crackers for the family, I make sure it's a type that doesn't tempt me.

Chocolate milk. Regardless of the size (individual, 2 serving bottles, an entire gallon) I will consume the entire thing within a day.

I agree on keeping pizza, bagels, and cream cheese out of the house. I have no problem with sugar free ice cream. The best thing I have found for cravings is chia seeds in a smoothie. Stops the cravings and makes you feel full.

Peanut butter is the big one for me!
Chips, crackers, or any kind of snackable carb.
I don't buy pasta because I know I won't be able to stick to one serving.
